Was using shockwave on my Batarian Sentenial earlier today and it was working for the first 3 waves and then it ceased working entirely. I would aim it dirrectly at husks and they would just keep running, no effect at all. Played through another few games noticed the same things. It works in the beggining and then does not work at all.

yes, It's a known issue. I don't think BW is paying attention to it though. I'd really like the play the new shaman class but shockwave passing right through targets just breaks the class viability.
