Anyone else have similiar stories?
That happened to me twice. I carried the team to wave 9, then died at the beginning of wave 10 on purpose, and watched them all fail the devices objective - no coat tails to be ridden on that day. The other time was on platinum, and I carried an even worser team to wave 8 - I was using level 1 equipment, but was actually trying to survive this time. Ended up getting stabbed by a phantom after side dodging away from a surprise banshee teleport on hydra. Waves took up to 6 minutes to beat at that point, and it was taking a toll on my patience too, so.
Yep, moral of the story: play with friends instead.

I can use the Avenger in Gold and do alright with it. It's fun playing in Gold with no consumables using the Human kits and common weapons. Only noobs will find this post as a troll post. All the experienced players know what I'm talking about.sandboxgod wrote...
Anytime I see an Avenger in a Gold lobby I just exit. Now once again I am back to a high extraction ratio. I hate to be that way. I really wouldn't mind carrying a little. But I am only human. Sometimes I might get sync killed every so often. I want others to be able to clutch waves if I am dead
I do recall once last night the game put me in a game mid-mission. I didnt ever see anyone. Maybe they all wiped. I got ganked as soon as I loaded by some cerebus. Didnt even get a shot off. Game still took away my consumables. I quit during the revive countdown.

Or are you refeering to a medium to small breed of dog?
Or maybe a chinese toy?
Or maybe you are refeering to the UK slang term for Peugeot branded cars?
Or perhaps you're refeering to drinking alcohol (particularly beer)?
Or maybe you're refeering to someone quickly gulping a drink?
Or someone who most people consider to be ugly, but you personally find attractive?
Or someone who is just plain ugly?
Or a Pop Up Group?
Or that annoying guy who steals all the kisses? (Oh boy do I lothe those kind of guys).
Or someone who could be either male or female (hard to tell)?
Or a boxer who kept getting bashed in the head due to lack of defensive skills?
Or to beg, borrow or steal?
What kind of PUG are you refeering to? I think you're refeering to a random group of players, but it could just as easily be any of the above.

Krogans aren't very pretty looking.
Maybe those useless players are trying to pug some credits from you in the hope that you'll carry them.
Perhaps the players are behaving like the small dog breed Pug.
Or maybe the useless players were acting like a stereotypical Peugeot drivers from poorly written comedies.
Or they could be like the boxer who kept getting bashed in the head due to lack of defensive skills, meaning you constantly had to revie them.
Or they were so useless, you were thinking that perhaps they had pugged a lot of beer.
Or they could just be a bunch of useless random players.
I'm really trying decipher what you mean by PUG here.

Semi -solo is less boring than solo.
I would love such a team in silver - to get all challenge points for myself. But sometimes, I get instead some super-players finishing the wave before I get a chance to see the enemy. At least it counts for extraction/waves challenges.

Fantastic.
My favourite one is when everyone else has died, and you're trying to take down the Praetorian despite the fact you only have a useless weapon.
After 10 minutes trying to take down the Praetorian with an Avenger rank 1, your fellow bronze buddies have rage quit leaving you to do the extraction wave on your own without any missiles! Fun times

I love these games where everything is destroyed in a matter of seconds and consumables are used without second thought.

I was adourning my FQE with the acolyte which is one of my go to characters, and I have to say to their defense, they did really well! Surprised me beings I set up for a solo run, just incase. Any more, I believe in giving anyone a chance at least once. There are some wacky kit builds out there since all of these balance changes that are proving rather effective in the hands of the right player.
This.
THIS.
BSN, heed this man's words.
And quit being so d*mn picky about what other people have equipped. I've seen many good players get red X's in the lobby because the party leader read on some message board that only (x) kit and setup will do.
It's funny and depressing when an N7-rank 300 wants to kick someone who has the Nomad achievement because the former disagress with the latter's choice of kit.

That's the opposite end, of course I'm willing to give everyone a chance, it's just a game after all. I only began playing gold two weeks ago (24th extraction was yesterday
In the same way, that N7 200 may be an insane player. He just doesn't like to promote. Or he just hates all weapons and only uses his trusty predator to kick ass in gold, you can't know that. But, when you see a lvl 5 human adept with NO equipment whatsoever, you just know something's wrong. "Can he be THAT good?" you ask yourself. The answer is probably "No". But I won't kick him, no (unless of course he receives two kick votes and i'm the one left). If it's a group like that, I assume they are friends who want to try gold. Then, I'll just take all my equipment off and conserve my consumables. I'm not being an ass and they can get a taste of gold and get better in the process. We might even make some credits as well.
