Ashley needed a hell of a lot more romance content and interaction in general.

Liara that all I needed the Mass Effect 2 characters most of them sucked. I think they should introduce new characters for both genders, I prefer more Female Aliens this time. I still don't understand why people like Mass Effect 2 characters when most of them were boring and didnt care much well Miranda and couple of them didnt care much for Shepard and crew. Liara haters go away!!

Miranda suffered a lot I felt.

Kept wondering when the VS (Ashely in my case) and her would interact. Seemed logical considering the VS' stance in the first ~half of the game. Never happened and I was disappointed.

They all could have been fleshed out more, with the exception to Liara. She seemed to get a decent amount of attention with her story arc.

I should've been able to turn Ashley into a lesbian after all we went through together.

What.

Firstly, ME2 squadmates are anything but boring. Secondly, no one is hating on Liara as a character, more on how she got much better treatment than any other romance, which is completely understandable.

Basically all the romances were terrible in ME3, on a sliding scale of course, but none were satisfactory. The one that was done the best was probably Kaidan/FemShep, but he suffers the same problems as Ashley in that there really isn't 'much' content outside of his stint in the hospital.

Besides all of them? Each one save Garrus/Fshep need expanding on regardless of weather they were ship bound LI or not. I had a thread on how to improve and expand on the LIs in ME3 that work with the existing frame work BW already has: http://social.biowar.../index/11149071

Miranda Lawson by far! Such a great character, so many missed opportunities! Ashley was lacking as well...

Yes, it was disappointing for Ashley and Miranda not to interact.  Ashley really did express her jealously though. :P

That's one of the reasons I would frown on bringing Miranda back as a squadmate. I think the logical conclusion would end up being old crew vs. new crew bickering.

all me2 characters (minus garrus), traynor and of course ash and kaiden (even though i hate them both along with jacob). as for new li, hmmmm kasumi seemed too interested in jacob so thats a big turn off, the green asari (shailia?) seems interesting. edi would be.....something. its like a **** block and a steal

All of the ME2 romances but most of all Thane. It felt like a slap in the face when I realised what they'd done to him. I was so disappointed I couldn't finish that playthrough.

Miranda definitely, even though I never romanced her in ME3. But I have seen the vids.

It seems a lot of the characters from ME2 suffered in this regard. I felt Kaidan (straight or gay) was superb, fantastic. But even that could of used some more work at parts. I dunno, maybe I have read too many fan stories of the mShenko. o3o

Overall though, I felt that Bioware made up for the lack of gay options in ME and ME2.

But really? My complaint is that there was NO GAY KAIDAN OPTION IN ME1! <_<

I have a hard time thinking about Jack or Miranda without being confronted by the yawning abyssal chasm of all that could have been done with them, yet now shall never be. When I stare into this abyss, the abyss stares into me. I think I heard it say it knows where I live.

Jacob -- I don't have as definitive an idea about what they could have done with him, but I have a very definitive idea about what they shouldn't have done, and they did it.

It was unfortunate that they decided to kill Thane after they fed the Thane fans all that false hope about a cure, but the least they could have done is given his death the attention and meaning that should have been there if you romanced him.
