  I noticed someone was using a HVB with the GPS
is there any point to this?
to my knowledge GPS already ignore armor reduction (and have high damage base)
and GPS rounds can never pierce armor plating or walls

True. GPS already ignores armor DR and cannot penetrate cover. That is why genomandril's physical platform had to be abandoned - it was not using optimum weapon mods

That could be because of some sort of virus which destroyed proper data

I didn't remember if it was slighty better against armor. There was no time to look, and for the extra weight...

GPS is tricky but once u get the hang of it it's an awesome gun,
just like the graal and, I guess, the crusader, though I haven't gotten a hang of the last one

I should try the GPR some time soon, it seems like it finally became a viable weapon, at least on a Geth, or a TGI.
