I don't know if this is common, but Brutes really like camping on top of my dead body, so Medigel ==> Stunlock ==> Dead

Being revived and being down two bars of health just makes it that more likely that you are going to go back down soon.

LoL. There's no argument of any kind in this thread, unless you consider '/signed' and 'yes we need it!" as some kind of defendable insight in game mechanics.
If you have such a hard time avoiding staggerlock during revives then you need better teammates or a lower difficulty.
Or learn to play better.

WE NEED THIS. Ok I really don't undesrstand why in the hell Bioware don't fix this. It is NOT funny at all get killed by a group of campers just waiting you to get revived/use medigel
And this is the problem with the whole argument.
If you put yourself into a bad situation where you're going to get killed as soon as you revive or sync killed that's your fault. Not the game's fault. Or your teammate revived you next to a sync kill mob, in which case it's your teammate's fault, which does happen but you accepted that possibility when you entered a team game.
If the situation is bad enough then having "stagger immunity" isn't going to help you. The only time sync kills are a problem is if you're the last one one standing, and that's the chance you take.
It's already easy enough to revive people, especially with the amount of consumables you get per game. What you guys are asking for is easy mode so that you don't have to worry about positioning or think about being a little extra careful if you're down to your last medi-gel.
P.S. Know when the best time to use OPs packs are? When you just revived and there's a bunch of stuff around you.

QFTruth.
(Nice point about OPs packs. Never used them that way before.)

you do realize you cant use an ops when staggered right... and you dont have to be in a bad position to be stagger locked on revive/gel.
1 prime its drone and one trooper in cover can insta kill you before you get to your feet, they dont even have to be within 20 meters to do this.
1 collector captain on platinum doesnt even need a stagger to insta kill you before an ops is usable.
since now that enemies get spawn DR, why shouldnt we get something on revive/gel.
the biggest problem i have on medigel/revive is how long it takes to actually get to my feet.
seems like to me that people like you only post in defence of something like this just to troll or try to upset other people.
i dont mind a challenge, but stunlock on revive isnt a challenge its just plain stupid and whats even more silly is someone who defends it.
but i guess sync kill perma death makes sense to you too... even tho we can be shot in the head a 100 times and medigel like its all good.
also throw in grenades, they dismember and kill, so how is it medigel/revive is all cool on that Vs. a phantom sword.
but anyway since you cant see any "real" argument then i suppose just keep trollin then.
oh and btw i think i will just keep playing gold/platinum like usual and keep adding to my credits for the next dlc... since my manifest is maxed and all.
sitting at 6 mil now and that because i blew 8 million on equipment the other day
but hey, good luck with the L2P argument.

Anytime you have teammates still alive you can wait for them to "draw fire" so you can get up safely. That rules out most of your problems.
So now we're down to you're the last person left alive. In that case, you should probably be a little careful if you're the last person realizing that you need to be careful if you're going to go down. If you go down you don't want to be in the middle of a pack if at all possible.
Some situations you can get out of by switching to your rocket laucher while getting up, then going down again. Then as soon as you use the second medi-gel you launch a rocket. This uses two medi-gels.
Other times, you can spam roll and get away. Or spam your OPs packs. I can count the number of times on my hands that I've went down a second time before I could use an OPs pack (assuming I had some left). That's not very many.
I'm not trying to troll anyone. You are arguining for it emotionally because you have a different point of view than I do. Rather than try to argue my points, you only seek to "disqualify" me by saying I'm trolling and I want to upset other people.
I know about sync kills. If an enemy is standing over you waiting for you to get up (and you're not the last person) then wait. That's all you gotta do.
If you're the last person with a banshee / phantom whatever standing over you then you have about a 50/50 chance of getting away. It's not -always- a sync kill. But so what if it is? Big deal...you lost the round. Does that ruin your entire match because something went wrong? Some chance happenings are good, because then it's not the same thing over and over again. Sometimes things spawn on top of you and you die. Should we not allow spawns to happen within two hundred yards of any player because they might go down 10 seconds into the round?
I'm not sure what you're trying to say about sync kills. It's a video game, things dont have to make sense.
"i will just keep playing gold / platinum like usual and keep adding to my credits for the next dlc...since my manifest is maxed and all...etc etc etc..."
^ Another attempt to somehow disqualify my argument because you have more "experience" or something. Okay.....

seems like to me that people like you ... {snipped for length. post is just above this.}
People like me try to avoid these situations in game instead of coming on the forum and asking Bioware to make the game easier.
Also, spawns have always had DR. Given that you think primes and troopers in cover can insta-kill, I'm not even sure we're playing the same game.
If you're afraid of one collector captain on Platinum, you're making my point about lower difficulties. Go play Gold.
Bottom line is that the lack of TOTAL immunity during revives is one facet of this game's difficulty scaling.
