Are there any classes not worth using?

So many complains about the FQE. Just when I finally completed solo gold with her (just a week ago).

Usually, on my Gold solos, I spend all the wave avoiding the Banshees, and their respawns. But, using a GPS, with warp ammo III and shotgun rail amp III, I took down Banshees so fast..., even before Marauders, Cannibals and Ravagers come close to me. Brutes? With cryo and incinerate, I just needed one clip of the GPS...
It was so much easier than soloing with the Human Adept (after the patch) and the Drell Vanguard (and yes, I particularly love more challenging classes, as some would say, but this concept really doesn't apply for the FQE).

I think Fortack really said everything. But, some advices (works for me...):
I prefer a 6/6/6/4/4 build. Sentry turret specced for shock, cryo and flame, and you will have distraction, damage and more cryo and fire explosions (use it for make your way, to protect, to increase damage).
Cryo is usefull always and for everything: to debuff, hit enemies behind/on cover, even against armored units! It has one of the most low powers cooldowns... And evolution 4 radius, makes cryo almost impossible to dodge. And Incinerate..., well it's the essential damage power for any engineer.

Infiltrators don't need to use sniper rifles.  I main infiltrators and I can't snipe above silver.  Just about every weapon can be made much more effective using an infiltrator  

I understand if you can't stand them because you feel they're cheap, but sniping is by no means a required facet of being an effective infiltrator.

Most infiltrators use shotguns. Turian Infiltrator actually gets a bonus to assault rifles.

Some classes are better than others, certainly. Some people don't like a class/kit or just can't play them well.

But not worth using? Nothing comes to my mind, really.

Who need roll when you can take a missile on the face? ;) the lack of roll is manageable, just use cover and keep moving to the side against guys like brutes and praetorians, I really don't see all the problems people have with it.

I use ti with Phaeston or Collector Rifle, even on platinum. I even did my gold solo with it. Turian sentinel don't need a powerful weapon, he only need something good at spreading ammo effect.. 


The shield cost of dodge is meanless. I worried with it when I first played with Asari, them I saw how meanless it is, most on vanguard. Enemies have a hard time hitting you if you keep dodging, which give you anough room to run for cover, or recover your cooldown for a charge. charge cooldown is fast, you can easily use a stasis when necessary, and it's not necessary all the time, plus grenades don't require cooldown. Ammo effect + charge is pretty good too.

I'm excited for the Asari infiltrator too..

I dislike most Sentinels, yes. I do LOVE the Paladin though. The Tech Armor to me is just too bugged. I never notice the damage resistance ever, and the fact that it slows down powers always is irritating...especially with the Human Sentinel. Also, yes; the explosion radius and damge is bad. It makes the power practically useless. In order for it to work, they need to boost either the defense of the Tech Armor or the damage of the detonation. Also, it be REALLY cool if you could detonate it mid-sync kill! If you did it, it would instantly kill the creature sync killing you. Awesome idea, right? Too bad it'd probably be a nightmare for Bioware to code.

I can't stand it, and that's mainly because I use it. A lot. My main character I use is a Drell Vanguard. It plays similar to the way I play Single Player. Fast. If you can't tell already from my gamertag/username, I'm a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan. I just enjoy fast paced gameplay. Drell Vanguard satisfies that. I can always dodge, and am always on the move. The fact that Turians can't dodge makes me play slower (if that makes sense), and it bothers me.

Collector Rifle though? That thing's pretty...well, it's not good. At least, I think so.

Again, as I was saying...it's costly to me. I always will be using it, and becuase their shields/health are weak to begin with, they can be taken down so much easier. It's just a character that bothers me and I find useless. The sniper build I can work around though...but again, that's not even perfect.

Drell Adepts are my hardest class. Too frail, and rely too much on bio explosions. Drell vanguard, on the other hand...

To me, the Drellguard, FQE (because the N7 Paladin renders her pointless, aside from the turret) and the Vorchineer. Seriously. I really hate the Vorchineer.

Out of all of the infiltrators, the only one i like is the shadow, but beyond that, i don't like infiltrators, mainly because i don't play with them very well...N7 slayer, Phoenix-guard, Destroyer and Turian Havoc and Human Engineer get heavy rotation nowadays...Image IPB
