GPR is great if you can land consistent headshots.

Because as we all know, it's the end of the world if the Geth Engineer can't spam Overload every 2.5 seconds.
Something tells me you're one of those people that will spam Overload on Brutes and Ravagers when the team is trying to set off biotic combos.
Using it to set off FEs is perfectly acceptable, however. Use Throw twice.
Either way, I find the turret (and really
all pets in this game) to be fairly irrelevant. I spec 4 into it to get the healing from it, and go 4 into Fitness. I might respec and skip the turret altogether. I find I frequently forget I have turrets/drones on my characters that can use them, and just don't throw them out again.
Also, OP, try a Saber on a GE.
