I'm curious about something. I recently tried to add my old Mass Effect 1 game to my Origin client (I bought that friggin' thing when it was brand new on the shelf back in 2008!), and was unable to due to its age, and Origin only (currently) accepting registration codes for games 2009 forward. I got in touch with EA Customer Support, and they were awesome in getting it added to my Origin account, for which I'm extremely grateful, as I always get a bit (quietly) cynical when it comes to dealing with any sort of customer service.
Thing about my question is this; I was able to add my ME2 to my Origin account with no difficulty (and ME3 is already there, of course), but I have Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival all part of my old ME2 account; is there a way to get Origin to recognize that I have those DLCs when I start on ME2 (replaying ME1 right now; doing the trilogy straight through), or do I have to manually install them from my account site after I've installed ME2 via Origin, and then sync saves to the cloud to get Origin to acknowledge the presence of those pieces of content?
The TL;DR version: is it going to be a major headache to get Origin to acknowledge my paid-for DLC, or very simple and stress-free?

You can still play the DLCs fine without them being on Origin. However, I'm not sure how to get them on either. I think you would have to go through customer support again to get them added.

They released a patch just now and all DLCs should be recognized by Origin now.
However, if you downloaded the patch externally, you will have to redownload it in Origin for it to recognize the new patch.
