...And please, stay calm and be civil. Just opinion. No fighting.

10 out of 10 is ridiculous, I'd say 8/10 at best from me.

Seival you make me laugh. You're such a glutton for punishment and the rage you enstill in people warms my heart.

I'll give it a 6 or 7 (<-this with dlc). The problem with ME is not that the ending is horrible (I've read worse ones in books by far), the problem is that is a great story with an average ending. Mix that with high expectations suddenly feeling the difference and with a touch of internet you get all this raging. Also include another touch of emotional involvement there.

2/10 (with EC)

1/10 (original)

the ending is broken, wrong and absolutely repulsive.

it does not honour the key themes of the series

it does not give weight to any of the previous decisions made by the player thorught the series

it does not provide closure for shepard or the other characters we grew to love.

it severley limits the future of the series.

do we need me to make a megathread on why the ending is bad?

How is ignoring what you've been set to do from day 1 and grabbing two pillars that fries you because a random reaper AI told you so a few seconds ago being wise?

About as much as shooting a random heating vent tube for the citadel will destroy the reapers cause the glowing AI told you it would.

Or trusting that jumping into a beam of energy will somehow change everyones dna.

Or even better, that telling it to **** off will end well for all the species in the galaxy.

Wait, what about Refuse Shepards? Come on. Give my Refuse Shepard some descriptive attribute like for the other endings.

Well THAT is wise if you THEN tell hackett the whole thing and
rally the fleet and use your war asset to finally deafeat the reapers
and... oh wait:

too video gamey

The true ending is a secret one, you need to first walk over to the destroy tube and hold down the L2 and Down D pad buttons.

Walk to the tube and the cutscene won't trigger, than you need to hold down the right D pad button, and aim at the control rods. You should get a prompt that says "hug tube", select yes and than aim your gun at the rods at the same time.

You'll hug the tube and your gun will hit the control rods, triggering the 4th walkway to emerge, and you follow that into the synthesis beam, which will than activate another elevator up into the crucible where the real ending cutscene will play.

Sevial's new avatar gives me the willies.
3/10 Points for the music, the ending slides, and the effort put into EC. Hate everything else sooo much.

If I could suggest something for Refuse Shepards, it would be hopeful. Or rebellious.

That's complicated. What does the real cutscene look like? Is it on youtube?

I can't rate it, maybe this is just a glitch on my game, but my ending was cut-off. It shows a picture of Shepard buried in rubble and then it just goes black.

Seival, you have officially jumped the insanity shark.

As for the ending, 1/10. It's bad, and I don't like it. :(
