3/10: It only gets those points because it was an "ending". Too much "deus-ex"iness for my taste and nothing I did really changed the endings. My choices should have had a massive effect on the variation of the ending. Instead, I could play a total failshep but still play enough multiplayer so that I got the "best ending.

*minor Halo 4 spoiler ahead*

Lastly, that starbrat coming out at the end nonsense was so bad that I had flashbacks when I played certain parts of Halo 4. Thankfully that game got the "bittersweet" thing right. Actually, it got the "good ending" thing right as well.

but believe it or not, I actually have more issue with stuff during the game than I do about its ending as a separate entity

The ending may be the single worst piece of fiction I have ever witnessed. The ideas behind the choices were fine, but the delivery was so poorly done that it almost made me physically ill. The EC bumped it up to a 2/10, though.

I voted for 1/10 because 0/10 wasn't available. Although that's mostly to accentuate how frustrated I am with Bioware's refusal to acknowledge how much it sucks. All in all, it probably deserves 1.5/10.

But for the original ending:  2/10, mainly because, well, pretty lights

For EC:  3/10 bonus for showing us that, Yay!  we didn't kill the galaxy with our galactic war crime!

MEHEM 8/10  It's the "Reaper off switch", but it amputated the worst parts of the ending, but provided a good balance of bittersweet rememberence and happy reunion.

9/10 for me i don't know why i like the EC ending but it still feels like it is missing something

Have you never given anything 10/10 before? I agree, nothing's perfect, but this is as close to perfect that Bioware could have achieved, in my opinion.

It's nice to have a debate, that isn't a fight for once. There wasn't anything that I didn't like, with the EC. So therefore, I would give it a 10/10. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's very close to it, in my opinion.
