Off-topic but Seival that avatar/signature combo is really frightening. What. The. Hell.
Just a visualization of my personal views on the ending, discribed in many other threads. Hard to explain in one short post. The avatar and signature are very positive in fact.

We can judge results of the poll correctly only if there will be at least about one million of unique voters...
...I don't expect the poll to gain that much votes, but who knows. Maybe this poll will become really massive
I think if it became that massive it would collapse into a black hole and take the bsn out with it
8/10 is my vote.

3/10. So bad, but there was decent music, and some neat extras with the extended cut.

Catalyst: "You could control us."
Shepard: "Really?"
Catalyst: "The Illusive man could not, because we already controlled him."
Shepard: "But I can instead."
Catalyst: "You will lose all that you are... but yet"
Shepard: "Not buying it."
Catalyst: "What?"
Shepard: "Well, you're the image of the kid from my nightmares so you can read my mind. I've been paying attention. Let's go back along the reasons."
Vendetta: "We were sabotaged from within. A splinter group argued we should dominate the reapers rather than destroy them."
Catalyst: "Just a co-incidence."
Shepard: "Right, so the Illusive man, a man you have already told me is indoctinated, forms his own splinter group and sabotages us from within... he was right all along."
Catalyst: "Exactly!"
Shepard: "But I can control you no problem by putting my hands on that exposed fuse box over there."
Catalyst: "It makes perfect sense if you think about it."
Shepard: "Even forgetting the argument I had with the Illusive man 5 minutes ago, which was so pursausive, that he blew his own brains after realising his mistake."
Catalyst: "The path lies before you. Make your choice."
Idiot player makes shepard kill himself on the millions of volts running through the fuse box..
Catalyst: "Heh, ******. Hey Harbinger?"
Harbinger: "Hey, what's up?"
Catalyst: "Just totally killed some organic dolt just before they activated the crucible again."
Harbinger: "Hah! That never gets old. Did he choose the fuse box, or jump into the giant reaper making blender?"

They could have made the ending better if the control option followed through more logically.

<sigh>
The problem I have with it is that it takes the concept of the character, i.e. the soldier, and attempts to turn him into some sort of mythic figure by having "The sacrifice", which isn't a bad thing. Coupled with, the "shiny light of justice" whatever that may be.
I've seen enough anime to have seen the hero stand, poised on broken rubble, chest justting out, chin held up defiantly in the face of overwhelming odds. A flag grasped in one hand whle the other clenches and shakes in defiance and determation!
The hero will then list all the qualities that the evil doers possess, he will then counter those qualities with the qualities of good men who never tire of goodness. and then............
And this is the bit that makes me sink my head into my hands in something akin to disbelief, mixed with dispair. The Hero Will Start To Glow! And his radiant light will banish all evil from the world! For Christmas! And the Protection of Puppies!
Didn't Shepard solve all his problems with military solution's on account of being a soldier? I was expecting a military solution to the Reaper problem. Maybe with a twist, but the solution should have taken effort, skill and determination in a white knuckle ride photo finish to extinction or survival.
