I'm not sure if Seival is doing this out of spite

or

Reinforcing the reasons why Synthesis is bad.

There is no "approving", "disproving", "spiting", or "reinforcing" here. That picture is only a small part of my personal thoughts on the ending, which I find perfect. Subjective personal thoughts. I don't wanna go into more details in this thread, because this is not what the thread is about...

...Let's keep observing how the voting goes, and what subjective opinions on the ME Trilogy ending people wish to share.

OP smells like a troll. No offense intended.  Just my initial impression.

2/10 because even with the EC, the ending remains completely static and can't take into account the teensy beensy bit where a player with an ME1 and ME2 import save may have already solved everything the Catalyst presents as "inevitable" by brokering peace and reunification between the Geth and the Quarians. The fact that the Rannoch sequence can offer a special choice based on the import but the ending can't is one of ME3's biggest fumbles.

Add to this how Casey's insistence on "explaining" (or even having) the Catalyst completely destroys the Reapers as an actual alien opposing force and reduces them to mindless killbots, I have to call the ending(s) simply terrible.

'10/10' and 'masterpiece' are really optimistic. Taken as a whole, the endings completed the story, or rather, they only completed Shepard's story with any finality (and not even that with the destroy ending tidbit), and maybe set the stage for a galaxy in rebuilding and opportunities to explore it. Maybe something small like a power vaccum, or something big like 'guess what the reapers were holding at bay'. That's what the ending did really well: Leave almost all the options on the table for ME4. Doesn't mean there aren't holes need filling.

Role-playing Shepard-Catalyst (or Catalyst-Shepard... doesn't really matter) to be correct :)

I get the feeling that you have a very Borg-like headcanon, Seival. Mind sharing?

They wrote themselves into a wall, even worse with Leviathan out there. The enidgs are far too indiverse to live up to its promise, but far too diverse for a sequel without nonsensical railroading. Still, I like it as an ending, for the galaxy recovers even in Destroy.

8/10

I wouldn't call it Borg-like, and I shouldn't share any details about it in this thread...

...In this thread I can only say that my personal view on the ending is very pro-Control, and very anti-IT.

Seriously, what about Refuse Shepards? You do realize that Refuse is about as popular as Control and Synthesis, right?

Well, Refusal is a part of the ending. I suppose you like Refusal very much, so you have at least one reason to like the ending in general.

I was referring to your graphic in OP. There's a formula for each ending, but Refuse is missing.

4/10, it's a functional third person shooter... and Rannoch and Tuchanka were good... there: that's all the nice things I can say about it.

Because there is no formula for doing nothing.

Also, because the graphic is my subjective point of view.

Is this a repeat of missing out the Quarian's when the OP polled what race would you like to play next?

Fortunately the poll was rectified to reflect all races. The OP can probably rectify the missing refusal ending so Refusers can be added to the ending testimonies.

*edit* That first post with the graphic. Wise cool and enraged Shepard.................Wat?

So a wise Shepard is a controlling Shepard. (who didn't listen to his parents when they said, 'Don't put your finger in the socket).

A cool Shepard is a synthesis Shepard. (who ironically get's so hot he's crispy fried)

And an enraged Shepard is a destroy Shepard. (Who is soooooo mad with the whole situation he advances on an exploding gas canister, on the off chance that, if his bullet's didn't destroy it, he could rip it open with his teeth).

Okay.......... The OP has put in the time to consider what each each Shepard is feeling, but hasn't considered what refuse Shep's feel.

I'm just going to say it again. Seiv, you have devised a thought experiment that skews data in favour of certain variables instead of looking at the whole picture.

There is a way out of this though. Go back to the first thread and say the thread considers the endings Pre ECDLC
