Seriously, what about Refuse Shepards? You do realize that Refuse is about as popular as Control and Synthesis, right?

Well, Refusal is a part of the ending. I suppose you like Refusal very much, so you have at least one reason to like the ending in general.

I was referring to your graphic in OP. There's a formula for each ending, but Refuse is missing.

Because there is no formula for doing nothing.

Also, because the graphic is my subjective point of view.

Doing nothing? Huh, my Shepard had a glorious speech - the best speech in the entire series. That's something.
But I suppose if that's your view on the Refuse ending, it's for the best of all if you don't try to attribute Refuse Shepards.

No formula for rejecting the Reapers?

Makes for 10/10 Indoctrination ending, perhaps your bias clouds your intellect(if you have any).

Voted 9/10 for the ending but in hindsight should have voted 10/10.

They wrote themselves into a wall, even worse with Leviathan out there. The enidgs are far too indiverse to live up to its promise, but far too diverse for a sequel without nonsensical railroading. Still, I like it as an ending, for the galaxy recovers even in Destroy.

8/10

I think that the ending doesn't actually make a nice sequel(s) impossible. Everything depends on the devs, and they know how to do their job.

apparently ... mass effect 3 was considered the best game of the entire series - the whole fanbase was extatic about the game and especially the endings.

what do you expect? .. most of the people have left this board - either out of anger over the endings of the constant bashing going on here.

But for people who believe in correct statistics 426 is nothing. Even tens of thousands would be too few...

...Maybe half of all players who've made at least one playthrough would be enough. But ideally every player should vote to provide real statistics.

...Hmm. I think it would be a nice idea for BioWare to implement "rate me" (like in mobile games, but without possibility to avoid rating a game) in each subsequent PC/Console game. And show that "rate me" pop-up only after full playthrough. And of course that rating for each game should be public, so any player will be able to see it (in Origin for example).

Its a sample vote, it is adequate to get a general understanding how people feel

...Also I think that "re-rate" option should be available in game options. So everyone will be able to see how exactly each DLCs affects people opinions on a game.

Tell that to biologists, and a lot of other scientists.
tens of thousands of samples too few?
I'm guessing medical trials are invalid too, since they don't observe the effects on half the world's population.

You seem to really like the idea of people being compelled to do things against their will...

I assume when you mean "correct" statistics you mean "correct" as in your sense of "correct" biology?

Since this is an ending related topic, I'd like to promote the BSN Census regarding the endings of ME3.
My opinion on the endings is mixed. As it is right now, not taking into account any future development, I'd give it 5/10. But you have to consider that my interpretation would rely on indoctrination taking place...

Well have you  or anyone else dissected over 50% of all lifeforms? No? well then clearly none of that evidence is valid,  as the number of specimens is far too few, because that is how science works apparently.

The OP didn't put a zero out of ten, which is what my opinion is, and I only speak for myself. What's this, eight months after I finished ME3 and I have played zero Mass Effect. It ruined the entire series for me, and I have not played any Mass Effect game at all since 3/10/2012. I'm kinda feeling like playing ME1, but every time I get down to booting it up, I realize it's just an exercise in diappointment since I know there is no ending worthy of a 90 hour, 3-game playthrough. Still bummed, still hate the ending, still no point to Mass Effect, etc. I sincerely hope ME4 is delayed to the point of non-existence, and relegated to Duke Nuken Forever status of ridicule.

8/10 for me, but only after EC.

6/10 without EC. I didn't think it was terrible, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted either.

Well, no. 1000 can be a good sample for a million if it's a representative sample, for instance with a distribution of casual gamers and hardcore gamers, men and women, similar to that of the whole player base and a similar age distribution. The thing is, BSN is anything but representative.

Also, tens of thousands can be a misleading sample, like the old ending poll with 80 participants showed. That 97% of all ME3 players disliked the original endings I find highly unlikely, though I certainly think it was more than the "vocal minority".

Having said that, the distribution of votes in your poll is certainly odd. An almost equal distribution of 2-10 and a full third at 1. I'd suspect artifacts here.

You could always try sampling.
