Along the lines of the very succesfull "Top 5 Things" topic, I'd like to hear what you think may be great and what would instead ruin the much rumored DA3 MP experience. How it could be done? How it should be done?
My humble opinion is that it has the potential to become something really great. Think not about your usual fantasy MMORPG, but something more along the lines of Mass Effect 3 MP, only with swords, spells and daggers. You can have Rogues sneaking around while defending a castle from an horde of Darkspawn, with your Warrior character defending the main entrance with his sword and shield and a Mage shooting fireballs of Death from above.
Add some kind of micro-character-building system and various combination of races and classes (imagine being able to use a Qunari Tal-Vashoth as a specific class, for example!) and you pretty much have a groundbreaking MP experience!
What would you like to see in Dragon Age 3 Multiplayer?

In my humble opinion, multiplayer has no place in Dragon Age especially when they haven't even got the single player up to snuff yet.

Some kind of a dungeon crawler would be a lot of fun.
I'm honestly really intrigued by it. ME3 is based off of firearms so it plays like any 3rd person shooter more or less. DA3 is a 3rd person, top down-ish kind of game so I'm interested to see how it plays out. Should be a lot of fun

Ideally, not at all
Barring that: Separate disk, separate install, not required for single player gaming

The only thing that I'd consider playing would be PvE, particularly dungeon crawling with other players, though I have a bad feeling we'll be seeing "arena mode" in this game.

The button saying "Multiplayer" in the main menu should be invisible.

There's already a thread about this and most comments say they want it not to exist.
Personally, after the debacle that was the ME3 and SP only players not being able to get the best ending, I'd want MP to have no impact on the SP game whatsoever.

dragon age classes can't realy be "balanced", nor should they be. I'm horrified at the results that will likely resullt from this. I'm imagining a long line of "class of the week", each getting nerfed to the point of uselessness.
We'll start with mage, whose massive AOE attacks would make him OP. Said AOE attacks will be nerfed to the point they can't actualy hurt anything. next you'll have the rogue dominating the single target dps market. his damage will be reduced to the point that it will be a strictly "utility class". The warrior will be unkillable. This will be compensated by the fact that it won't actually be able to kill anything, his sole porpuse reduced to being a meatshield. and that's just the first round of nerfing...

I think the ME3 character set up would translate well into DA multiplayer. But there would need to be changes to the actual gameplay or at least more modes than just darkspawn horde (something ME could use too). Multiplayer campaign would be ideal. Something running parallel to the SP but as many have said completely separate.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a decent co-op mode, playing the campaign with a friend. Something like Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights offered.

Level matched, party vs party arena. Create 4 characters specifically for use in multiplayer, exp and gear come from winning matches. Tactics schemes are allowed, pausing is not.

Agree. Would rather they spend the funds and time on the single player game. Do some kind of DLC for multiplayer later if they want. Something I don't have to puchase.

Multiplayer RPG cutscenes work pretty well in SWToR. If they could implement a system like that, I'd be game.
