Having a dandy one here.
The loading screen( after the initial EA/Bioware blurb with the orange multi-tool) is the laggiest, step by step movement I have ever encounterred. If I manage to get past press any key, it then stutters through communicating, then I get the main menu and it will 'check the downloadable content' or some suhc, and never get past that point (or at least not in a timeframe I have tolerated, >15 min).
This is new to a new system, it ran fine on my q6600 and radeon HD 4870.
System is :
Intel 3770K
MSI board
Gigabyte GTX 670 (with 306.97 drivers)
and oodles of RAM.
I have tried playing with the Nvidia options in the control panel (vsync, anti-aliasing, etc), I have disabled virtu, as although it seems to load when using it, I can't see any images to tell ( but I have a cursor). The game is running solely on the 670.
Anyone got something?

Figured something out, it will work... If I reinstall video drivers and do not reboot... Pretty screwed up so far as that is the only thing that makes it work.

That's strange - I have two EVGA GTX 670s running in SLI on my Core i7 2600K system, and all of the Mass Effect games run flawlessly on it. I even performed an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro without re-installing the drivers, and ME3 never complained once.
