You know that guy who made the Marauder Shields comics? Here's a journal he wrote about the Leviathan DLC and what he thinks is good writing. With comparisons to ME3's writing.
Takes way less than 37 minutes to read and he's not wasting time on nitpicking.
See, now I really enjoyed that article. It makes a really good point, it's concise and it's not insulting to it's viewers.

I enjoyed, at least with this dude, he tries to spin the ending into something positive and enjoyable for a lot of people, instead of drowning it in negativity. I respect that.

Eh, even Citizen Kane and Casablanca have their logic-breaking plot holes, as do many other celebrated games. It all depends on how they're supplemented.
In what regard supplemented?

Just that voice... ugh. How can anyone watch over 30 minutes of this?!
Those that watch his videos don't make up reasons not to hear how this Gears knock off's story is abysmal. That's how.

No, they just wasted more than half an hour of their lives listening to some guy talking about things they more than likely already know by now, since the game and its story DLCs have been out for quite a while.
I bet that he'll get around to the Omega DLC around March or April too. Just so he can gather all the criticism from various sources and repeat them in order to have at least some relevant material for his unnecessarily long videos.

Does it make you think? Does it provide emotional satisfaction? Does it reach some form of catharsis?
It's all a balance between creativity, attention to detail, and base satisfaction---one that the ME3 ending didn't get quite right, despite noble intentions and an interesting confrontation between the audience and some the story's underlying themes.

Thanks for the explanation. <3
But I diagree that it all depends on the supplementation. Because it sounds to me that the "sugar-coating" would be the most important thing to solving the problems the endings had and have.
And sadly the EC was little more than just that in my eyes.

Why are you all here posting on a ME3 forum? Aren't 3/4 of the threads on the first page been covered sometime in the past 8 months? Why not volunteer in Haiti instead of playing video games, then logging on to your computer to talk about playing video games? Sheesh.

Didn't even keep it on for a minute. Sounds like he just finished ME3 yesterday...
you must have missed the part where he said that was the stuff he wasn't going to talk in depth about because bioware didn't address them in the extended cut, and thus had no place in his video.

Well, i doubt that putting all stupidity and nonsense of ME3 into one video is possible.Seboist wrote...
The sad thing is that smud only scratches the surface of the derp of ME3. He hasn't mentioned how they retconned the Protheans losing due to a surprise decapitation strike and losing control of the relays to...... not having been multicultural(wha...?).
He hasn't even teared apart Catalyst properly
Well, he said he will made at least 1 more video.
