People have strange arguments against smudboy. He shouldn't make videos because the game is 8 months old? He's too invested into the game? Really?

Why are you all here posting on a ME3 forum? Aren't 3/4 of the threads on the first page been covered sometime in the past 8 months? Why not volunteer in Haiti instead of playing video games, then logging on to your computer to talk about playing video games? Sheesh.

I think you misunderstand people.
What they really mean to say is that they think he should stop making videos because he doesn't have the same opinion about ME3 as they have.

He makes a pretty valid point though: WHY is shepard shooting throught that awful oipe while the Catalyst a.k.a reaper's collective inteligence can just STOP the attack and send the reapers dying (through a star or something) this is TOO stupid.
Suddenly i think i hate ME3 again

I would laugh if Shepard lost his gun and need to break the tube made from bulletproof glass with own head....

Because it is a story about defeat, unconditional surrender, and appeal to insanity. Art, you know.

Smudboy does nitpick a lot but also includes a lot of valid points. I agree with his ME2 and ME3 videos wholeheartedly, ME2 had no plot or point to it.

He nitpicks a lot but the bigger points he makes are valid. The ending simply doesn't make any sense and will never make any sense without massive amounts of retconning.

Retroactively trying to foreshadow the star child mess in dlc (looking at you Leviathan) also does not make the ending any better or more thought out. It's more of a confirmation by BioWare that they didn't think the ending through at all and only came up with it at the last possible moment. Probably had only 1 evening to write it. But again, this should come as no surprise to anyone who has seen the ending.

Me too  But at least it would explain, why Shepard is near the explosion of the tube when it is destroyed...with her gun shooting at it, there is no reason she would walk towards it. Unless Shepard has become an idiot in the course of ME3, which would never happ...oh, wait

you must have missed the part where he said that was the stuff he wasn't going to talk in depth about because bioware didn't address them in the extended cut, and thus had no place in his video.

You must have missed the part where I said I didn't even keep it on for a minute. I don't give a crap why he didn't go into detail. ALL of his points have been pointed out already ever since the EC was released. When you start a video asking "why?... why this? why that?! why?!?!? why no has?!1/?!1" I have little patience. Maybe that is why I dislike "Clever" n00b's videos.

I made it about 12 mins into the video. When he made the argument about absolutism I just couldn't take it anymore. Not only is his argument so devoid of logic, but he fails to see the fact the he himself engages in absolutism in practically all his "critiques" of ME3.

Sorry, maybe I am A MORON, but I cannot seem to find why his logic lacks logic. Does not make much sense.

While I do not have to agree to Smudboy I can see his point and that He is indeed right - that does not mean that other "points" are wrong. If they arel logical or at least have anything to do with common sense they are indeed correct but they can be driven by human tendency to be emotional or just driven by human individual character.
While I can disagree with Smudboy's saying of being "objective" ( cause what or who is 100 % objective or 100 % subjective ? ) I can agree with him on many fields.

And while I can see plotholes and errors, principal mistakes of ME2 ( I do not want to mentiong the BIG RED ERROR of Me3  ) I can get around it cause ME2 is enjoyable to me.

This is the second time that @David7204 has suggested that someone should throw themselves in front of the train. Not coincidentally, it's the second time he's being banned for it, too. So let's all agree to forget the Anna Karenina-esque suggestion and get back on topic... we'll see how long civility lasts.

He said it in the first ten seconds. And how can you say that "ALL of his points have been pointed out already" if you "Didn't even keep it on for a minute". That just doesn't make sense.

Smudboy is always making good or thoughtful points you can disagree with him but you can't really say he doesn't make you think about the story at large.

Smudboy's video is garbage. Opinionated nitpicking bullcrap. And why should I care what the people who started at ME3 think? When else has it ever been smart to start at the end of a trilogy? Smudboy is a jealous little twerp. His failure to understand why the Reapers are causing chaos, his suggestion the Reapers should just nuke the planet, and his complaint that they shouldn't be killing millions of humans they want to harvest when there are billions upon billions of humans on earth is so retarded I couldn't even finish the video.

Look, I'm not calling out anyone who hates the ending or even the entire game, but he's crying about little stuff and half of what he says is plain stupid. This video is so whiny and full of poor logic it's pointless. Hate it if you want, but his petty reasons aren't what's wrong with ME3 or the scene. Smudboy is a crybaby

Im sorry, but you kind of lost credibility after you said he started with mass effect 3, which yeah i guess he did for the first ten minutes of his first ME3 video, but he only made some fifteen or so videos on mass effect 2 alone, and ten or so on Mass effect one. You can disagree with him on his opinions on the story, but to claim that he doesn't understand the universe or the story is simply ridiculous.

I'm talking about how he was whining about newcomers not knowing what's going on. Who cares? Anyone that thinks starting at part 3 of a trilogy and expects to understand the narrative is irrelevant to me. You want to know what's going on? Play the first two parts of the story.
