EA's influence over ME2 is at most superficial. Both ME2 and DA:O were nearly complete when EA bought BioWare. 99% of what was done in ME2 was off BioWare's own accord.

If you want to look at the games that were actually developed from start to finish under EA, look at the stellar DA2 and ME3.

I actually think the quality of ME2 and ME3 are quite a bit above ME1 (which is still fantastic).

Just look at the use of the camera in ME3, just how many characters were fully fleshed out, and as a result you became emotionally attached to.

If you mean the business practice has been declining, then yes, but the quality of Mass Effect has not.

Every gamer's dream is the day a true paragon becomes CEO of EA. Sadly, there is a better chance of Rainbow-Colored Pig Flying w/ Wings made from Bacon, and Ham slices, while shooting lightning from it's snout, and has a flaming demonic crown with a hologram of a talking toilet following it around. Seriously, EA needs to reconsider it's management or it's bye-bye income.

I don't beleive it was only the idea of the Reapers as much as it was the fact that the Reapers were almost invincible and certainly unbeatable. At least by conventional means. When we learned that, the fight was over already because we knew we couldn't win and that made everything else pointless.  

That's the way it was for me anyway.

No wonder ME3 looked worse in the characters department, not only did my shepard not feel like mine but he looked nothing like the one i had in ME1/2...and to this day im still pissed that the haitcut i had in ME1/2 wasnt even in ME3.......i had to use some jew looking crap. Bailey had the haircut but yet i couldnt choose it......well least it isnt an ending moan:bandit:
