is pierce rlly worth taking because i always took dmg im just wondering if its worth taking for against like banshees and stuff

I have not used Dark Channel all that much, but I would think that Pierce would be worth taking for the extra damage to Armor and Barriers.

I'd go with pierce. Makes it a lot more viable against tough enemies and you don't need extra damage to deal with mooks when you can just use it to set up biotic explosions.

3rded for pierce. Having the extra 75% damage against armor is truly worth it. In certain situations all you need to do is cast DC against an armored unit and wait. DC works for 30secs and does a real number on armor. Along with BE from throw...good bye bad guys!
