World of Warcraft was just like that.

How is World of Warcraft addictive? The first levels are always boring, I played World of Warcraft for 1 year, and it only got addictive once you hit maximum level (80 in my case).

How? It's different for everyone. Some people just get caught in the leveling process and never really stop. My brother is one of them. Me personally mostly blasted through the leveling so i could get to the endgame as fast as possible so i could work on the bosses. That was the addicting part for me for most part of the time i played that game. In the end before i quite the PvP was what really took a lot of my time, fighting in the arena was both fun and very competetive which is exactly what i wanted. I played WoW when 60, 70, 80 and 85 were the maximum level so after a while the competition against other people and guilds really stuck with me

Empire Earth, Tribes 2, WoW and Alpha Centauri ate up a lot of my time. Right now most of my video game time goes into League of Legends. It is really addicting, despite only having four maps and game modes.

SSF4. Unhealthily addictive, but I've pulled myself away from it with the help of medication and group therapy.

Fo Real?

That's pretty dark for such a colorful game.

Are you still a Pokemon fan?

Oh definitely this. Pokemon Yellow was my first handheld game. I'll add Final Fantasy Tactics as a child spending 300 hours on a single game was well amazing.

The last Pokemon game I played was years ago. My brother's Pokemon: Colosseum on Game Cube.
I loved it actually, spent hours training all of them, and trading with my brother's ruby and saphire versions so we can see them in 3d.

But after that, I haven't played any pokemon no.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown. I don't know why, but I kept telling myself I wouldn't play it some days out of fear of f*cking up but next thing I knew I was playing it for hours. O_O

Skyrim. No, really - it never hit me just how much I've been playing that game until recently. It's been over a year since it came out and it may as well be a permanent fixture in my Xbox disc drive. I'm pretty damn addicted.
