I recently saw this fan video that got me interested in a Cullen / Mage love interest storyline.

Say you make a female mage in Inquisition - It could let you pursue a unique romance story with Cullen. Just thought it could be cool with Cullens character.

Check the video out - www.youtube.com/watch

What could happen to poor Cullen in DA3?

I'm sure that, if we did include him in DA3, no matter what direction we take him some people will declare him Ruined FOREVER. I mean, what if we contravened headcanon? Perish the thought. There's so much blank canvas which has been filled in by his fans, it's practically impossible we could do otherwise.

Ultimately, if we do include him, he won't be included for his fans exclusively-- despite the fact they're most likely the ones to claim that's why he'd be present. Those are, after all, the people most likely to be displeased. So any inclusion would be for nefarious purposes of our own. Or to make his fans cry bitter tears. Both are worthy goals, insofar as we're concerned.

That, of course, depends on us including him in any capacity. :wizard:

Naw, we'd be cool with whatever you to do with him... well, at least us ladies (and gents) from the Cullen thread would be.

You say that now.

*sigh*  Hmm, "to-may-to, to-mah-to"? "I'm the rubber,  you're the glue..."?  Everyone gets so judgey about Cullen fans, when anyone who comes to these forums "off-season" is a fanatic at some level. Embrace the crazy.

True enough. The Cullen fans have a 1000+ page thread devoted to a relatively minor character-- they're no more crazy than someone spending years of their life on a forum to **** about things they don't like. They are, however, still crazy... so it might be worth not being quite so touchy about it every time someone looks their way. If these forums have proven anything, it's that they're a lightning rod for crazy in general.

I still think they'll be the first ones to surround the tower with pitchforks if something was potentially done with him that they didn't like-- but if not? Then cool. That would, however, certainly be a first.

And, yes... obviously I am referring to each and every one of them, who will all react in the exact same way, and not just to the lone few who would post their ire in every single thread they could. ;)

You know in all this time I never took that phrase from Anders story to mean that Anders/Justice ate the people he killed as Vengeance.

He didn't. Angry Pants just likes being a troll.

I wonder if Cullen get's grilled by the Seekers. Image IPB

I read that as "drilled" the first time. And laughed.

Hey there, I took it the same way when I first read it. It was pretty explicitly stating by how it was written that Anders/Vengeance was in the mood for some long pork.

No that was not explicitly stated. You inferred that. At best it was implied, though certainly not intentionally.

"Explicitly stated" would have been "I ate those templars". Perhaps "explicit" means something else where you come from.

Either way, why does anyone care at this point?

And this is why we can't have nice things.

Some bans handed out.
