Say you make a female mage in Inquisition - It could let you pursue a unique romance story with Cullen. Just thought it could be cool with Cullens character.

why just a female mage
I'm not saying just a female mage. All classes should be able to romance him - The story with a female mage could just be more unique with the whole 'forbidden templar/mage love' concept.

but a male mage would be less unique and less forbidden?

I dunno really. Cullen doesn't seem like the type of character that would be Bisexual. But I suppose bioware make everyone bisexual now... Meh.

i don't think bioware making more choices available to everybody should be something "meh" worthy
also i'd like to know what a bisexual personality is

You are misunderstanding me. In Origins Cullen shows a romantic interest in the female mage and not the male mage - It would just seem strange to suddenly make him interested in men as well for the sake of player choice.

Why is that strange?
If a man is interested in a woman ever he must immediately show interest in a man or else he is straight forever.

Wouldn't be the first time Bioware has done something like this, so I'm not sure if it'd ever be a surprise to anyone by now.
Another example of the same thing happening in another Bioware game because they wanted more options for everyone, and surprise, it worked out for the best and more people were included in content.
Also you'd be surprised to know that bisexual people are allowed to have preferences. Maybe Cullen prefers girls by a wide margin, but once that special guy happens along... It doesn't erase his interest in girls, either.

Agreed.
Define the type of character that would be bisexual.
Difficulty: Do not cite offensive stereotypes.

Cullen is a templar and a brother in the chantry. His vows are to take the maker's divine bride as his wife, not husband.

Templars are allowed to be married to actual people.
Also there's nothing in the Chant that is against homosexual relationships.
Also you didn't answer Shorts's question.

So you're saying that his vow of celibacy (a state of being unmarried and sexually abstinent) rules out romance with men but not women? Even though "take the Maker's divine bride as a wife" is a metaphor for devotion to belief over worldly pleasures?
Yeah that makes no sense, you'll have to try again.

There's that too, but as an argument Emzam's position makes no internal logical sense anyway.

Then you'd have to prove a negative and find evidence of Cullen explicitly denying he finds men (or any man) sexually attractive and never will. There's no evidence of this anyhere. We only have a check next to "women" and a question mark next to "men."

I wouldn't write it off as being a complete waste of time just yet.

Just because... O nevermind, this is going to turn nasty.
I don't need get into that argument. I defended why I backed tristan hawke, and that's enough.
