Both subjects are tied to eachother, so I don't see how that's possible. Unless it's a thread discussing specifically heterosexual romances, which this one isn't.

There's nothing in the OP to suggest the thread was created for anything but the discussion of a heterosexual romance between Cullen and a female PC.

I definitely want Cullen to be available as an LI, even though I've never been a huge Cullen fan myself. I think he'd be very different than any of the other DA LIs so far. I would especially enjoy it if Dorian (the rumoured Magister) was the other male LI. A Magister and a Templar would be so lovely. Think of the jealousy banters.

Okay...I  this idea.  Bioware, please make it happen...

On the subject of Cullen/mage, I love the dynamic of the relationship.  My 'canon' warden is a Surana who romances Alistair, the whole 'forbidden fruit' thing is just so tempting. 

As to the bisexual issue, I don't have strong feelings one way or the other.  I liked that DA2 offered flexibility with the LI choices and romanced Isabela, Merrill and Fenris with both genders.

If the DA team don't feel that Cullen is right for a companion/LI role, then it's because they have a good reason for it. Will I and the rest of the Cullen thread be disappointed? Absolutely. Will we rampage through the DA3 forums and scream bloody murder? Naw. Kicking up sh!t never done anyone any good... and it certainly wouldn't get us anywhere lol.

I think romancers see the potential of the tortured soul, conflicting emotions, forbidden romance that Cullen could bring to the table. In short it's the prospect of an off the wall emo romance.

Yeah... I don't really see that.  He wasn't really conflicted as much as a bit confused in DA:O in the Mage Origin, and afterwords he wasn't really so much as a tortured soul as much as he was tortured horribly by mages and abominations.

Sounds hot enough to me, but not what I meant , I mean if the inquisitor is a mage then he will try and fight his feelings like Anders did except different reasons and then just the angry sex part like fenris and the sexual attitude like Isabella <3

Despite him being a hardliner in Da2 he turned against Meredith, so there's probably some potential for him to do some soul searching in Da3 complete with him whining about his choice in careers, and the potential templar/mage romance with him acting standoffish/douche like to the mage pc.

I think he was sent there by Gregoir who felt keeping him in the tower of Ferelden (where he had been tortured by mages and demons) was a bad, bad idea.  Too bad Merrydeath's Gallows made the Broken Circle look like an E-ticket attraction at Disneyworld.

As to the fascination with Cullen, I think it's a case of the potential character development of the character that intrigues many fans.  He's already experienced some remarkable character development and I, for one, would be curious to see more.  His journey has kind of been 'the average man's journey' since his inclusion in the story.  He's devout and a templar but he isn't vicious or indiscriminately cruel.  He reacted to abuse from mages with an extreme reaction, and even ends up defending Hawke (regardless of Hawke's class) against his commander.
