"What? No dwarf tossing!"
Reminds me of the Lord of the Rings movies and "No one tosses a dwarf!" followed shortly after by "......toss me!"

If I remember right, if you have Oghren with you while doing the gauntlet, and if you are lucky (I am not sure what triggers it), he'll make another Dwarf tossing comment when you come up to the bridge.

You remember correctly. When you first enter the area, it triggers a comment from one of your party members about the puzzle. If Oghren's in your party, there's a chance he'll suggest tossing him over.

You can't get to the tombstones in Haven on the 360. I was very disappointed.
Untrue. Hubby and I ran around and read all of them one night while on the 360.

Really? How'd you get there? I wasn't able to get to the graveyard on the 360 either.
After you complete the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, I believe? It's a really narrow path, just past and behind a house (first one, I think?) on the right. You may have to look a bit, but it's definitely there.

I really had to laugh there.
Also, in the Dwarven Commoner Origin, a guy might approach you offering two silvers for you front teeth. -> Reference to Les Miserables, Frantine sold her front teeth for 2 silvers.

I think you do have to finish the quest, but it's behind the house on the right up the hill. If I hadn't read about it we never would have looked because the path is far from obvious!thenyxie wrote...

You can get Black Hand Gauntlets from the Malfactorium in the Brecilian forest.
You can find Wilhelm's Special Brew in Honleath.

You do have to finish the quest first, just found that out on the wiki. Haven't tried it on the Xbox yet, but I was able to get there on the PC. Hilarious stuff, that.

Glad you found it!
Your character pic is very, very handsome. He could be a Bioware NPC character he's so unique looking.

You're the second person in the past day to call him handsome.

You're the second person in the past day to call him handsome.Thank you! I wasn't trying to make him handsome, though - but unique, certainly. I thought playing a Rivaini mage would be interesting, since there aren't many Rivaini in the game (if any). I also always try to give my characters an imperfect physical trait or two. It's hard to tell in my avatar, but I used the toolset to give him big ears that stick far out the side of his head. Makes him look a tad goofy.

I think the big ear thing is working for him
What's a Rivaini? Is this something I missed?

Here's a good example of his ears sticking out.
The Rivaini are a dark-skinned people that live further up north, near the Qunari. They're not really mentioned in-game, but there is a codex entry on their land, and there's a Rivaini mage in The Stolen Throne, if I recall. Here's a wiki entry on Rivain. Of course, for the purposes of DA:O's mage origin, my guy was born in Ferelden, but his parents immegrated from Rivain. That's the backstory I go with, at least.
On topic so I don't derail things too much, another favorite easter egg of mine are the various, often hidden references to previous Bioware games, like one of the Pearl's prostitutes saying, "Hey sexy, want to take a look at me diddies?" or the journal about a dwarf named Shepard.

It's not really an easter egg, but the Chant of Light reminds me of the Litany Against Fear from Dune. Maybe because of the female priestess thing. Don't think the Chantry is involved in breeding programs like the Bene Gesserit, but you never know...
