I bought BL2 played it straight for about 2 weeks with ME3 occasionally thrown in. Haven't touched BL2 in about 3 weeks.

I bought AC3 played it for about 4 days to complete story mode. Still play the MP with some friends occasionally, but primarily play ME3.

The people who truly enjoy the ME3 MP for the gameplay will never substitute it for CoD. The gameplay is not similar enough for CoD to simply replace it. Same goes for Halo and AC3.

Seriously? The fact that you're all ranting about how, putting it bluntly,

"my games are better than their games, therefor I'm better than the people that play those games"

Really just reflects back on how pitiful this site really is, it's oddly amusing to see how you people try to show how you, as a whole, are better than everyone else. But, where do you draw the line between amusing, and plain distasteful.

IMO cod is crap. My post was mearly wondering if EA will do anything to activision given it shipped an EA ip with out permission I'm assuming from the avalible info.<_<

Damn straight.

Listening to everyone on here bash COD and COD players is laughable... the average COD player would likely be a better ME3 MP gamer than 90% of the "I only play RPGs and Single Player" crowd.

Cod players know how to shoot, how to use cover, how to HIT THE HEAD, how to set traps, how to control spawns/choke points FAR FAR better than the average RPG gamer.

You are not superior to anyone... get over yourselves.

The position so many people are taking is preposterous... it's just as dumb as Annomander acting like Billy Badass because he can headshot things on a PC... my 10 year old kid can headshot things on a PC like a boss.. in PVP GAMES, where the enemy is smart and actually tries to make you miss. Being good at ME3 is easy if you're not an idiot, or have some FPS experience.

Eh it's the same on every forum I've been in really.
Personally I won't judge anyone on what they play.
At least I don't think I do.

It just stems from the fear that people will abandon the mass effect mp section and they shut down the servers so people seem to express said fear by bashing other games and other players.

WoW and GW2 players do this for example.
Same for some FTP MMOs I've wandered, like SMT online and Eden Eternal.

No one wants their fun thing to get shut down and the internet being the internet they cope with that eventuality by throwing HATE at everything.

Personally am more annoyed with review sites not being harsh enough in their reviews. A 9.2 for example should be considered the second coming of Hesus the videogame deity.

Ahh... the good ole days. Got my Black Ops 2 right next to me... gonna give it a spin here in a minute. I waited until I talked to my friends whose opinions I trust before spending the money. The same ones I asked about MW3 and they said "Eh... it's ok so far." are now saying "Dude... this is really freakin' cool" about the new Black ops.

I've been wanting to kill some actual humans for awhile... pwning ME3 idiot enemies is fun, but it's nothing like PvP.

Too bad there isn't this feature on Steam. Also, from a friend who just got it, BO2 is nothing special.

I'm gonna wait until I hook up with a bunch of buddies, learn the spawns/levels, unlock the weapons, etc. before making a final opinion.

If it sucks... I can always get the bulk of my money back. I think they gave me 35-40$ when I sold MW3. Those game hold their resale value...

Hell just a few months ago I saw MW2 in Wal-Mart for 50$.

Less cliched response time. In all honesty people just probably want a little variation, but those who truly enjoy this game will always come back for more.

This. Peeps just like to mix up their games a bit... and it's not been a great summer for releases.

Me for example, have just got off a Halo4 stint, and now about to go play some ME MP with some friends. Even with BL2, Halo4, and Hitman I still find time for some ME

You completely ripped them off.  

I quite liked MW2 though. I also liked the rage when they nerfed the Model shotgun.

Alot of my time has been in AC3 but I played a bit ME3 MP today to make sure my skills stay sharp. I plan on playing a few rounds tonight. I want to make sure I have some moneys saved up for the next DLC :-)

But it's true!  Blacklight Retribution is way better than Black Ops II!  Doe Black Ops II allow players to construct weapons from eight separate components? Or customize their body armor?  'Cuz I'm not playing any shooter that doesn't let me keep my heavy extended range purple LMG.  Look how intricate the customization is, and it's all balanced!  Your move, lamestream shooters lol.

Reviews are opinions.
People seem to go shock and awe from a 66/100 which is still actually ok or borderline good or good.
Review scores are weird.

This. I don't play COD because I hate the people who play COD (that and Treyarch make bad games and I'm bored with COD). So good riddance. Also I'm not having any problems with failing in games even on silver. The good peope are still here it's just that most are playing with likeminded people not PUGs. Also I have BL2, AC III, and Halo 4 and I'm still playing ME3. So your argument that people are leaving(people who are good at this game that is) is flawed. Sure we may be playing other things but dang it ME3 just keeps pulling us in. Oh and the person whos says Black light is superior  to Crysis clone 2 I mean Black OPs II is right on the money. If I had a PC that could push it and a wired controller that would be my shooter of choice.

I expect the vast majority of people who disappered due to Black Ops 2 to be back very shortly.
