Since the last thread ended in complete disaster, with borderline harrasment of Bioware employees, as well as complete disrespect of legitimately concerned people who believe in womens rights, I'd like to move positive discussion to this thread.

This thread is only about Female Dwarves in DA3

We've ****ed about DA2 for about 2 years now? I'm frankly tired of it and I think we should look towards DA3. The Female Kossith fans have kept themselves civilized, I don't see why we can't.

In celebration of all this, I'm making a brand new FemDwarf in DAO which I will use as my canon to import into DA2-->DA3.

So to start, I personally hope we can have more Branka-like characters. Branka was amazing and really made A Paragon of Her Kind truly exciting. Her storyline with Hespith was very intriguing. And I'd LOOVVVVEEEE To see a Dagna appearance, because she is a confirmed goddess.

So heres to a POSITIVE DISCUSSION about Female Dwarves!!

Yes, I would support female dwarves for ME3. :P

As for DA3, I don't mind, as long as long as they have enough resources to build a model for female dwarves.

See, they wouldn't have had all this trouble if they'd just given female dwarves beards and a touch of mascara. ;)

I've harrassed David Gaider quite a lot, and I've never seen him post like that. I think he's reached his breaking point.

I just read his last post and I didn't sense anything manic or hostile about it. Maybe I just have a higher threshold I guess.

+1 for female dwarves. They are sexy, sassy, badass, and will totally punch dragons with those weird DA:O orangutan arms XD

Compared to the normal politically correct David Gaider? He posted in all caps and seemed really frustrated. I would be too if people were calling me a sexist.

After reading the last thread; I'm confused as to how there is anything more to discuss on the matter. You have Gaider's official statement on the entire issue and there is literally nothing to talk about in regards to femdwarves showing up in DA3 other than, "we want femdwarves in DA3!!!"

How about discussing if any femdwarves from DAO will return, how they will impact the plot, etc.

...Telvanni, you can still TALK and discuss stuff and what you would like the female dwarf roles to be. :| Kinda like the Cullen thread. He was a damn minor character and lots of people discussed what they wanted. Why can't we do that with female dwarves, huh?

Isn't "We want/don't want XYZ in DA3!!!!" pretty much the entire DA3 forum at this point?

A futile endeavour seeing as how we know very little about anything.  Hey, I hope Shale makes a showing just as much as anyone; but my desire and knowledge on the subject pretty much stops there.  But hey, if you want to go ahead and create a mini fan fic on how some hypothetical femdwarve affects the story which is already out of our hands then go right ahead.

Positive lady dwarf discussion? I'm in! I know I'm not alone in loving the idea of seeing Sigrun again, but I'd also love the opportunity to meet some new ladies too, maybe who can show off facets of experience and life we haven't seen yet. The Silent Sisters have always been really interesting to me in particular; I know we got Utha (who I loved) in the Calling, but by the time we as players actually got to interact with her she wasn't really in a position in which we could form much of a connection with her.

I'm holding out hope that we maybe might get glimpses of Kal-Sharok in Inquisition, too, which would be another nice way to get a fresh insight into dwarven lives.

Put me down for more dwarves, both male and female! Bioware has created some excellent female dwarves from Rica to Sigrun. Let's hope they continue!

That it is Corker.

@TelvanniWarlord, keeping this thread open allows others to voice their interest/wants for female dwarves in DA3. The last topic was closed because it deviated from a request for female dwarves in DA3 to finger pointing and DA2 related bickering. This thread is about people wanting female dwarves and why and all that good stuff.

@the topic, to be honest I don't usually play dwarves but it would be nice to see some around in the game. My only question is: "Is there a large population of dwarves where DA3 will take place?" I'm sure we can't get the answer to this at this time, but certainly it is an important question. I think Kirkwall was a different story because it was contained in such a small area, but certainly other portions of Thedas would have dwarven populations. They aren't just in the frostback right? :)

Dr. Gaider already said he wouldn't write characters just to appeal to fetishes. Don't get your hopes up.

The woman that has the Dwarf Nobles bastard son should make an appearance, as should the kid if you chose to get him back into house Aeducan.

Strange, as that is pretty much all that BioWare does nowadays except Third Person Shooter.

Why would female dwarves be considered a fetish and not males?
