Probably just ride it. I don't necessarily want a pet that fights by my side. Even something like Ander's Sir Pounce-a-lot would be a nice change of pace.

I will always stand by barkspawn, no matter the iteration. Actually, I think Barkspawn Mk III has a nice ring to it...

I don't know that there's anything in Thedas that's dangerous enough to bear the name Bun bun.

Personally, all my mabari have been named Rabbit.  It's just too weird otherwise.
