But that really is their defaut, and they don't know any better. I thought it was bad back when I first started and default difficulty was "any". This... is much, much worse.

Okay. Okay. So. Clearly changing the default in and of itself was not an issue. And they clearly had to have seen our overwhelming feedback requesting the defaults be changed to bronze.

I can also confirm DragonRacer's comment on the PS3.  The instances of N7 Level 1's enterting Platinum lobbies or joining Platinum matches in progess is very, VERY, frequent.  Suffice it to say...the poor bastards that join in-progess games are blown away.

Why not drop the game to bronze, and welcome the new player into multiplayer. Give him/her some tips, direct him/her to this forum...

Sometimes I think Bioware trolls us for the lols. Not that they're being evil, just funny.

Many people complain when a noob ends up in gold or platinum match because of it being set to any.

Now their default is platinum/collectors? Troll level: Bioware

The whole situation is rather lolworthy though.
