[HT-Thunder]

 Hey BSN

just for fun, I was thinking if people could tell what weapons in each category do they like the most and why. Point is not to find out the best guns ever, but instead finding the ones with most fun to play with or something that's just cool.
To get this started, I'll go first

Pistols: Arc Pistol. I just like fast shooting handgun with deadly accuracy, never really use the charge up function on the gun tho.

Shotguns: Katana. Basic shotgun with enough shots. And I like the looks

Assault Rifle: Particle rifle. beam mechanics are just fun and look nice ingame

Sniper rifle: N7 Valiant. Looks nice and fits my style quite well. I don't enjoy heavy damage single shot snipers as much. Valiant just feels more versatile and efficient

SMG: Tempest. On turian soldier, this gun is effective and fun. shooting out gazillion bullets per second is just the way I like my smg

GPS, Carnifex, Harrier (even though I need to get way more levels up on it), Hurricane, don't really use snipers but if I had to pick one... Widow?

Too many to list. One of my favorite things about this game is i feel like I am at an all you can eat buffet of guns. So many choices I can't decide sometimes.

The Harrier is simply awesome. So glad I got one. Even at level 1, it lets me play weapons classes. I also really liked the Striker when paired with the Ghost.

The Piranha and Reegar are also fun as shotguns.

Sniper Rifle: Mantis (Since headshots already insta-kill, I see no reason to carry a heavier rifle)

Assault Rifle: Saber (Headshots)

Pistol: Arc Pistol (Light-weight, high damage)

Shotgun: Graal Spike Thrower (It's fun to see the spikes shoot into enemy faces.  It's also a great shotgun for headshots.)

Talon, valiant, harrier. I don't care about any SMG, and I don't use shotguns enough to have a preference, unless you want to count the talon.

 Sniper Rifle: Viper on most classes, good amount of ammo.  Black Widow on my KroSen.  Who needs power recharge speed?

Assault Rirfle: Mattock on most, accurate, decent power, decent ammo.  Revenant when I want a bullet hose.

SMGs: Locust.  PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW.  Enough said.

Shotgun: This is my Claymore.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.  ...Lighter characters take a Scimitar.

Pistol: Phalanx.  I find it to be a sweet spot between the Predator and the Carnifex, not quite as strong as the latter, but more ammo while not being as weak as the former.

Over-all favorite weapon though?  My fist.  It makes heads 'splode.

Shotgun: Wraith on a Vanguard, Crusader on my Soldier
SMG: Hurricane, but I've been using the Hornet because I have a VII, and my Hurricane is still at II
Pistol: Eagle. Pretty versatile, and it's a VIII

well it all depends on the clas i am using.

Most of the time i run an Asari Justicar and i have pull set up so i can pretty much spam it and it will spread to adjacent enemies so i run around as the "tip of the spear" pulling everything and it they have shields i reave it which staggers it and shoot it in the face. For this i prefer the carniflex which i have upgraded to the max level, so i reave to stagger and shoot it in the face, very effective.

I also run an Asari Vangard so i biotic charge alot but again as "tip of the spear" i close fast, stagger the enemy and shoot it in the face. The carniflex i light enough that i can get 170% or better recharge on my biotic powers. It also has the power to stagger most enemies with a shot center mass which allows me to take a clean easy shot to the face.

But on occasion as i run my Quarian engineer, i use my turret (maxed out) as my second player or in a full match as the 5th player. It guards my flank while i snipe with an M-90 Indra as it is the lightest sniper with decient power and fire rate.

My Turian soldier carries a level 2 M-99 Sabre.

So for me in order of preference it all depends on the class i am playing. As i play more Asaris i use the carniflex, if i am looking for a few easier rounds witha laid back feel to them i play the engineer and the M-90 Indra and my soldier which is my first class i played uses the M-99 Sabre.
