I don't have a lot of weapons nor many upgraded weapons, but here are my favorites for the bronze/silver games I'm usually in.

HP : Scorpion or Predator
AR : Mattock or Phaeston
SMG : Tempest or Geth Plasma SMG
Shotgun : Scimitar or Argus
Sniper : Viper

Assault Rifle: Saber
As someone who generally prefers precision over volume of fire the Saber is an obvious choice.

Sniper Rifle: Valiant
Has, imo, the best ratio of weight, RoF and Power of any sniper, it just *feels* more responsive than any other sniper.

Shotgun: Wraith
I originally hated this weapon but with all the buffs it's gotten it has become an amazing gun. Light enough to not cripple power classes but having enough accuracy and power to always be relevant in a fight. It's pretty much the perfect general purpose shotgun these days.

Pistol: Scorpion
Both unique and powerful the Scorpion is possibly the single best weapon to have when you absolutely have to hold the line. The STG did damn good with designing this one.

SMG: Tempest
Light enough to be a side-arm for anyone yet powerful enough to bring down most targets without too much trouble (with a HVB of course).

Picking my favorites - not the best, but the ones I like the most:

AR: Harrier is fun at a thousand rounds per minute. Aside from that I like the GPR as a caster gun, especially post-buff. My SE can throw some ammo on that and it's an explosion every few seconds, without that 'Oh let me just hose it down with an SMG because that's what casters do!' feeling.
SMG: Honestly the SMGs all feel like the same weapon to me almost. I like the Hornet as an exception but I can't use it for crap. My favorite SMG is probably the GPSMG. You throw that thing onto a RoF Turian and it's like an effing laser beam once it spins up, it was pure fun in the days before the Harrier and the beam weapons gave us actual beam weapons/better RoF-abuse weapons.
Shotgun: Honestly? I use the Eviscerator a lot. It's light so it doens't affect Charge much, still deals acceptable damage on Silver, has a good clip size/RoF so it's forgiving of mistakes.
SR: I'm gonna go with the Javelin. I can't use it for CRAP (No really I've tried, usually I'm bottom of the scoreboard,) but damn do I love that gun. It's just FUN.
HP: The Talon can get pretty crazy but I've always liked the automatics more (Which is one reason I'm so bummed that with rare exception the full-autos are treated like trash.) I like the Eagle - sue me.

AR: Saber, Mattock, Harrier. Saber shades Mattock. Harrier I don't actually like that much for the fact you have to hump ammo boxes (unless playing as Demolisher).

SMG: Hurricane. Locust as poor man's Hurricane.

Shotgun: Lots of nice ones. Claymore, Raider, Eviscerator.

SR: Black Widow and Valiant. Honourable mentions to Jav and Widow

Pistol: Acolyte, Carnifex, Talon.

Sniper Rifle: Valiant - I used it as my only gun for the entirely of my home Insanity Vanguard playthrough. I love it in MP too, but I personally am not much for sniper rifles so it rarely comes out.

Assault Rifle: PPR - Particularly on the Destroyer, but I use it on a lot of caster kits as well. I only have it at level 1, but I still love the way it feels even if there are other potentially stronger rifles I could be using.

SMG: Tempest - All day every day, I like this on a number of kits, I use it on Soldiers, I use it on casters, I just love the Tempest. Again this one is a feel choice more then a power choice, I just find this gun really satisfying to use.

Shotguns: Scimitar - I have a soft spot for this gun from ME2 where it was my favorite Vanguard gun. As a silver it doesn't stack up in ME3, but I'll always love it anyway, and I'm going to keep trying to convince people maybe it could use some love.

Pistols: Acolyte - I personally mostly play casters and do almost all my fighting with powers. The Acolyte is a great backup to that playstyle, a light weight shield buster. Plus it has some fun combat tricks.

This post is not a comment on our balance process or what guns we think are the best. Just the guns I have fun using, regardless of power level!

Pistol: I havn't used it in a while, but the Phalanx is an old favourite. I generally use the Carnifex these days. Also, Talon on a Vanguard.

SMG: I use the Hurricane the most, but I also like using the Tempest.

Shotgun: I've been using the Eviscerator a lot lately, but I also like the Disciple.

Sniper: I prefer to use the Raptor, as I'm not very good with single-shot rifles, and the Raptor is kinda like an assault rifle.

Assault Rifle: I love using the Saber, its really powerful, and has enough shots in a clip to compensate for my bad aim. The Collector Assault Rifle is also pretty good, largely due to its accuracy.

• Sniper Rifle: N7 Valiant - Packs a punch for the amount of shots you can dish out.
• Assualt Rifle: N7 Typhoon - Huge ammo capacity and decent damage against armored enemies.
• SMG: N7 Hurricane - This little gun pack quite a punch, but sacrifice accuracy.
• Shotgun: M-22 Eviscerator - Not the best shotgun but combined with a caster class, it is devestating.
• Pistol: M-77 Paladin - Slap a scope on and you've got yourself a powerful pocket sniper.

Sniper Rifle : Valiant so far, but I have to test Black Widow again.

Assault Rifle : hmmm, I'd like to say Harrier but I haven't played it a lot... tough to say.

SMG : Hurricane by far. It's the reason why I have so little SMG Amps left

Shotguns : I like the Eviscerator ; Reegar is awesome too but is it really a shotgun ?

Heavy Pistols : Talon. I like the Phalanx as well.
