What I mean by this is: DA3 better have these two guys, they are kind of the link that binds the series together :P

Dragon age without "enchantment!" is like PB&J without the J.

Sandal is so funny - when I saw them in DA2, I instantly knew I was going to enjoy the game - and I did. Apart from it being very rushed.

You think they are gonna return?

Can't say that I know much about where DA3 is going to take place but didn't Bodhan say that they were going to Orlais?

Don't forget Flemeth and Cullen... maybe they cart-pooled to Kirkwall and will split the fare to Orlais in Bodahn and Sandal's caravan? ;)

I bet Sandal will be in DA3. I'm not so sure about Bodhan, though. He did say he was getting old.

No. The BSN can not stand for mainstream. We are just too elite.

I am pretty sure that Sandal will be in every Dragon Age game. Bodhan will almost for sure be in this one, not sure about the following ones though.

Calling it now. BioWare will kill off Bodahn in DA3 at some point.

Main bad guy/person/thing kills Bodahn so the protag of DA3 will be on a personal vendetta against it. Awesome.

It wouldn't surprise me. I kinda feel like it's been forshadowed ever since Bodahn told Hawke that he wanted to ensure Sandal has a comfortable future since he's getting old. It's gonna be like a Bambi all over again, I can see it now.

... Then I'll cry.

This would be the most emotional Bioware death ever

I don't know if DA3 has to have them or not.... but if they do show up then they've become Dragon Age's R2-D2 and C-3PO in my mind at least.

Seriously, Dragon age isn't Dragon age without an appearance by Sandal. I still love how he does things when nobodies around and the PC is left scratching their head on exactly how he accomplished what he did. I'm hopeful that we'll witness another such scene in DAIII

I was getting rather tired of them by the end of DA2, personally.

Pretty sure they will. What I'm wondering is whether Wade and Herren will be back or not?

Assuming that we are being given a castle in DA III, wouldn't it be cool to have Bodhan, Sandal, Wade, and Herren working there as shopkeepers, enchanter, and blacksmith? I'd like that very much!

I would love to see them! It wouldn't be the same without them. I agree that there's a good chance that Bodahn will die in DAIII though. :crying:

Scary thought: what if Bodahn's death pushes Sandal over the edge and he goes all dark side? I haven't met the Inquisitor yet, but I dunno if they can compete with Sandal's "boom" or "not enchantment."

I just talked to Sandal again in DA2 and I still say he just has to be in DAIII. That's my hope anyways.

I think it's likely they'll turn up. There is something about Sandal that freaks me out. I mean, remember in DAO when you walked in and there was a group of dead darkspawn at his feet? And then in DA2 there was the ogre, then the dead demons! And his little prophecy near the end of the game was...insightful. It's always the crazy ones...
