It won't get fixed till next year thankfully, they have to pay money on xbox and psn to release patches :D.

Meanwhile anyone wanna test to see if equipping multiple weight mods on different weapons fixes the bug like pistol ulm and SMG ulm did?

Damn you OP!!!!

Now they know.

Yes, now the unwashed plebes around here (like me) can use it too. I ALREADY loved my Batarian Brawler and Wraith, now I am going to love it even MORE!

If you want, you can equip four of these mods and suffer no extra penalty. Wraith/Indra is a particularly nasty combination.

Ah! So, that means I can slap a Heavy Barrel on my Wraith without penalties?

Or Raider, I'm guessing?

I am entirely certain BW already knows about this, but were hoping that we wouldnt figure it out. They probably preferred to get the mods into our hands so we could enjoy them rather than withholding them because they are still broken.

If they know about this bug already it wouldn't surprise me if they had a pool going to see how long it would take for us to figure it out.  If there is one thing that is a given is that the fan base will always find the bugs no matter how small.

Honestly, I think they should stay this way. These are gold weapon mods, so they should be better than silver ones.

Did a quick stopwatch test.

Krogan Soldier with 3 points in Carnage (no other skills were taken).

Harrier X (no mods) + Claymore (no mods) - 14 second cooldown on Carnage
-stopwatched it at around 14 seconds - works as intended

Harrier X (no mods) + Claymore with shotgun HVB (+50 weight) - 19 second cooldown on Carnage
-stopwatched it at around 14 seconds - doesn't work as intended

Beneficial bug is beneficial. :D

Thank you for the information. This is very beneficial to know. I will have to update my Drellguard guide with this.

That actually counteracts what someone said earlier, where if you had a DLC weapon in your loadout, then all the mods would work as intended.  Hmmm, they tested with Acolyte, maybing something about it?

The mod is equipped on the Claymore though, the Harrier is equipped but not the weapon the mod is interacting with.

Edit: Oh I see what you're saying...hmm. Welp I use the Acolyte on a few things, guess I'll check it out.

Tested on Batarian Soldier. My normal loadout of a Raider with a Smart Choke and High Velocity Barrel plus a Hurricane with ULM and HVB gives me a roughly four second cooldown on Ballistic Blades as listed on the tab in the lobby, without Blade Armor active.

Ingame this is roughly four seconds. With Blade Armor on it extends to around five or six seconds (I have no stopwatch, so I am counting one-mississippi two-mississippi etc). Hurricane might be a "DLC" weapon, so I changed it to the Tempest with the same loadout. Same results.

Changed weapon to Claymore, same mods as Raider. Same subweapon as well. Claymore without HVB is roughly the same weight as a Raider with. Power listing in menu is roughly six seconds.

Ingame this is roughly six seconds. Blade Armor extends it further.

I play on the 360, and I believe this is NOT the case, either on this platform or in general. Non-DLC weapons in my game are receiving the proper cooldown penalty.

This is highly interesting!

So those mods work as intended on all DLC weapons, including the PPR (which was in the Rebellion-files), but excluding Resurgence?

Just tried running a Scimitar with +100 weight and a GSMG. Cooldown was drastically affected.

Tested on a Geth Trooper with a Javelin. Exact same cooldown with or without the high velocity barrel, even though it was the difference between a positive and a negative cooldown bonus.

Also had a game with a Drell Vanguard + Claymore with high velocity barrel, I haven't tested it but I didn't notice any difference.

I'm finding that if I equip an SMG or pistol with ULM it will make the default weapons take the weighted mods into account.
