Yeah, I think I'm in the same boat. Gold's pretty easy, but Platinum's only doable when I'm using my most comfortable kit and with a good team.

They will probably want you to play a couple U/U/P games with them... which is always a fun thing

Honestly it wasn't so bad once I started to filter my credits into Recruit Packs. Took a week to get 30+ promotions, and went up nearly 1000 N7 levels in the process. Not too bad.

The lamest challenges are the Aliens ones, imo. Commando Mastery looks daunting to me right now.

Good games with you. Looking forward to more. Btw today was the first time I saw someone on the console with the BotB banner. And it was you AND Uh Cold. I definitely felt like I had something to prove to belong in there haha.

I'm a fairly competent player, but I'm definitely not the best. I know a few buddies who are worthy candidates for this group though.

I actually enjoyed Commando Mastery quite a bit as there is a bunch of really powerful characters in there.. it wasn't as grindy for me as Outsider Mastery, because the only things I liked in Outsider Mastery were the Talon, the Drells and the Volus Engineer. I don't do the Phoenixes very well...

It seemed like folks had something to prove in there... I would charge into a spawn to rocket it and it was nuked before I was halfway there a BUNCH of times LOL.

I'm glad Cold started the group... that's the way Platinum games should be. Fast, relatively smooth and VERY efficient. Good times.

I have a feeling I'll be putting it off to the end as well, because I'm really not that great with the Asari. And as you know there are a metric ****ton of them. I'm also kind of struggling with the over-cover grab kills. Not that I'm focusing on them, but when I do go for a grab, they'll quickly jump over or move the hell out the way. It's pretty frustrating. Ah well, I'll get BotB someday. Spectre Mastery's gonna unlock soon too. I enjoyed Outsider Mastery, despite the Phoenix guys and the freaking horrible Raptor. I just really like playing with the Drells.

I tried to hold my missiles only for objectives, or just to speed things up. But it is a pretty great way to get some fast points.

Completely agreed. I have never seen a 17 minute Platinum game. That was bonerific. When I play with randoms it's usually 30+ minutes. -__- Or 40 if they're Rio farming.

Had a good set of platinum games yesterday with Cold, Balkan, and one other whose name escapes me at the moment. First game I played my QFE and didn't do too great, barely capping 60k. Switched to my Vorcha engie with a Harrier, still came in last, but not by nearly as much and capped 100k. Third and final game I had to leave a few waves in due to needing to head out, but it was probably for the best, as my Volus engineer was getting carried pretty hard.
Moral of the story: I can do platinum, but I suck royally compared to Cold and all of them. I need to step my game up some more. Stupid grinding on bronze and silver has weakened me!
Also, to the three I was with, I'm really sorry that I had to leave early. If I'd had a choice, I would've stayed. I hope the match didn't end too badly.
