fairly competent player, but I'm definitely not the best. I know a few
buddies who are worthy candidates for this group though.
I'll give this some consideration.
There's a good reason why I'm using an outside banner... I'm an outsider, a mystery few will ever get to know and play with.

Have you met Relix28?
My brief few games with him, he tried shooting that nuke near his team mates D: And then his mad experiment with us wanting to die

Then I read about its purpose and it struck me as arrogant and the complete opposite to how I view the ME3 multiiplayer. I've spent a lot of time playing PvP multiplayer games and ME3 is the first game in a while to have suckered me in even though it is focused on co-op. This is not a competitive game. People are playing against a gimpy A.I,, for chrissake. The "elite" talk that I see here reminds me very much of the type of stuff seen in message boards for games like Gears of War or the Call of Duty franchise but it also reminds me that there are different ways people enjoy this game no matter how indifferent I am towards that or how strange or silly I may find it(therefore, I'll shut my mouth from here on out). This being a public thread for everyone to read and anyone to comment on, I thought nothing of voicing my opinion of the group.
And about good players, there are many more than frequent posters here would lead us to believe. No one has to be "elite" in order to avoid being carried. Demanding that people play solos or duos is silly, so I suppose on that point we can agree.
I also find the use of the word stud interesting. I can't speak on your experience but I've come across several good female players in ME3. I would hate to be singled out simply because I was "competent", and that being noteworthy only because I ain't a dude, if you get my meaning.
If there's any arrogance in the group it's likely in a joking fashion. Alot of us have been called Elitist Dbags so much that we just accept it and roll with it... the same way we accept Lord_Sirian and his humor. Why get all butt-hurt by a joke when you can roll with the punches and play along?
Honestly... who cares what people think. Who cares what I think... certianly not many.
I'm sure there are other good players out there besides the BSNers... but I'm not going to subject myself to hideous trash pugs in order to find a diamond in the rough... especially when I can just play with these fellas, which is ultimately the purpose of the group... to avoid pugs.
I've come across alot of 'serviceable' female players in ME3... but only a few who I would call badass. You and Qwiji (I probably butchered her name) are the only two I've personally met... the rest, had to be carried and lived at the bottom of the scoreboard by substantial margins. I don't even like playing with people like that regardless of gender... but there are other males who insist on bringing them to games just because they're female. I think that is the weakest, lamest crap ever.
So... sorry if you feel singled out... but you are a refreshing exception in an otherwise steady trend. I have yet to play with SimoneShepherd, and LadyNemesis... but LadyNemesis probably won't play with me because she said she would delete anyone she saw playing COD (herp a derp). I think Landylan is a woman too...
I like you sir

Then again, came across one in a Gold match a few days ago, and she was blaming everybody for her dying. Flamer was killing her, Arc grenades were killing her, the works. I've never seen three straight kick votes so quickly once the match was over (and it ended early because nobody wanted it to continue lmfao.)
You were great. Not to sound like an elitist dbag (seriously I'm not!), but I'm not used to being put into third place. I usually am always in either first or second on the scoreboards. The fact that you did beat me out in that second game we played was pretty cool. I feel like in this group, even coming in last isn't really an insult to one's abilities.Inabstract wrote...

There's just a ton of talent. Even if it is against "gimpy A.I.".

That was the first time I've ever seen a game go over 600k experience.... ever.

Sounds 'bout right. I don't remember the scores, but I remember the total experience netted back was 630k. If only experience could be transferred into credits (I don't know how it would work, but it would be cool) if you're Level 20.Uh Cold wrote...

Completely agreed. I have never seen a 17 minute Platinum game. That was bonerific. When I play with randoms it's usually 30+ minutes. -__- Or 40 if they're Rio farming.
Well it was some time ago but nevertheless....
13:58. They are the most skilled players I've ever watched. And yes, that was before they nerfed Typhoon.
So it's not the best place for beginner, to ask people for some help with multi I suppose. I've just started my adventure with only salarian engineer lvl. 4 (apart from the standard human classes). Any advices from the elite?

No advice, just enjoy him. Both of the Salarian characters are really good. There's not really any way to do them wrong. You can either use your Decoy, which is still really effective, or you can spec out of it.

Those players didn't mod anything, I have been a part of a lot of sub 12 minute Platinum runs and a few players I know have been sub 11 minute (all Xbox). Just saying that there is no need to bring up modding just because they are on PC and put up a decent time on their first Platinum run.

This might be what you are looking for Slim. This was the 10:09 run from months back. Sub 12 minute runs on platinum are not out of the norm when a well coordinated, talented team is involved. I do miss hte days of speedruning a bit. Probably why I joined Tatty for most of his 13 map speedrun tour.
