What's with all the hostility? I joined the group because I wanted to make some new friends and get to play with some of the best. I'm happy Cold took me in, and he's a great player. I don't view S.p.E.c.T.R.E. X as an e-peen contest, I view it as a group for players to get together and have fun, and that's what it's supposed to be. The people I've played with so far are great, and I'm looking forward to playing with everyone more. Forget the "elitism", forget the "competitive" stuff, just have fun.

That would be all well and good, if this group weren't implicitly and explicitly defined throughout this thread by exclusion, putting players through auditions, litmus tests that have very little to do with casual fun like duoing Platinum with no rockets (some people may find that fun; most would find it a silly and artificial way of playing the game); and self-congratulation.

At least at Team AreleX we brought everyone on board and taught them how to do what we did. Almost everyone I played with from there was fun to play with, and none of them repeatedly made references to their own superiority over other players, though many of them may have deserved to.

 If one wants to make a truly elite group, they would not advertise it in the multiplayer forum board. They would hire men in black suits to secretly deliver letters of notice to each player's door step.

 I hope Megabeast takes no offense to all that I've said here.

 

The bit about the men in black suits makes it sound more like these elite players are aliens who need to pay their registration fees to the MIB. 

Never played with him, but from what I've seen, Jay should be the first one visited. 

 

Well yeah, I'm pretty sure they visit regularly to make sure his cyborg implants aren't about to go haywire.

I posted this before already. If not then dude... dont look down on other players due to platform preference. Its just childish...and no... if I am wrong sorry but on my side It looked like your drinking the haterade juice thus my responses.

I think no matter how Sirian comes off he is trying to do it in a friendly joking way, and that isn't always easy to tell on the internet. He posts regularly on our other forum and we all make fun of each other there. It can be hard to tell here with the repeated console comments.

Actually "Uh Cold" take me off the list for the group. I do want to promote the group though and you know I like you and mostly everyone on both pc and console group. You have nothing but love from me and support.

I'd like to showcase the group once you are ready on my channel in case anyone else who is not on BSN (tons) but are on youtube would like to try and join. Let me know if thats something you'd be interested in and I will make the video with you for my subs.

I knew he was kidding all along. Thats why I never raged like some people. It takes a tough skin and patience to understand his humor. Im not an easily offended person so it was easy to see the humor in his comments.

This goes for the PC branch also. If you have any channel links let me know and I will showcase them also. This way the PC players who I have as subs know who to go to for the PC branch. Sue: The reason I want to play with this guys (aside the fact that I enjoy their company) is that it's nice to play a game where I don't have to pick classes that carry other players weight. I mean... 90% of Platinum matches I play, it's me and Devil protecting/kinda carrying our other friends (not talking about you). That's why Devil always plays DPS classes, because often times our other friends won't be able to kill enough. That's why I always play Vanguards, because if I don't give the enemy something to shoot at (my face), they will often times outgun my team. I'm very good at getting shot in the face...

When I play with these fellas... I can be free to REALLY do whatever the hell I want to do, and I can be comfortable knowing they got my back. 

I don't need this for E-peen... my E-peen has been getting 6 hour daily massages w/ happy endings from Black Ops2 anyway. It took me a few days to return to form... but ohh boy am I back. Killing other humans makes my E-peen rage... shooting Cerberus troops does not. Hell... even Devil got BO2 and he's enjoying it, and he's one of those 'hardcore COD haters' who hated it without having a reason (like a bunch of a-holes on this board).

Anyway... I see the operation started. I'm gonna log on, if anyone wants to hit me up... I'll be there.

Edit: Sue.. you didn't offend me... at all. The only thing that offends me is that ugly Krogan with a monocle, and the cheesy sounding Crocodile Dundee accent
