Extremely close second would be Slayer, and if you made me choose I'd probably hate you forever.

Good, good. Give into your hatred.

Well I would simply stop playing. The genius of this game is its diversity of gameplay. If the question really means "what is your favourite class ?" then my answer is : Asari Vanguard.

The Vorcha Sentinel.

" The Reapers encountered difficulties in harvesting the vorcha homeworld. Because the vorcha were not cowed by the Reapers' impersonal intimidation tactics and the effects of the destruction of resources like water were negligible given the vorcha could adapt themselves to survive, the Reapers devoted their efforts to immobilizing Heshtok's population and preventing the vorcha from contributing in the galactic war."

Turian Soldier, love dat Marksman. Though the increased mobility with the quarian soldier might be more fun, I'll have to reserve judgement. Might not be as good w/o turian stability.

I really can't choose. It's like trying to choose your favorite child, except in this case I sincerely can't.

The most fun class for me to play is the Drell Adept.  However, it doesn't offer that much in the way of playstyle variety.  If you made me choose only one class, I would choose the class that offers the most variety in playstyle.  In my mind, that's either the Turian Sentinel or the Human Sentinel.  Probably the Human Sentinel, because I couldn't go forever without being able to detonate my own Biotic Explosions.  If I want to do tech power explosions, I can use ammo powers for that.

Krogan Sentinel. Grenades, heavy weapons, and tech armor for even better DR than the soldier. Melee all the things :)

Makes me even more curious as to why the Reapers wouldn't use them in their army given how resilient their survival skills were drawing extra efforts from the Reapers.
