Right there with you. Some people (not everyone, of course) need to be less entitled and understand that not everything goes according to plan. Think on how we would feel if we were the devs doing all that hard work and adjust complaints accordingly.

Also, note all the multiplayer content that has been added FREE of charge. I paid $80.00 for the CE and have gotten a ton more MP maps, weapons, character kits, and gear monetarily free. To me, that's worth giving the team my patience and understanding.

Just my $.02

I think people actually are tolerant of mistakes, bugs etc. when developers acknowledge them and are seen to be addressing them speedily (and the product was large and complex enough that the reason they're there in the first place was because it was large and complicated not because it was a rush job).

I must agree.

I don't understand this why people trolling and get so rude to Bioware ? They try fix multiplayer and this won't be easy. This hate is about endings still ? Blah...

Exactly... at least we know they're trying to fix it. Look at Skyrim for PS3, no DLC whatsoever, minimal patches and still lots of glitches. I doubt Bethesda works round the clock to fix the problems. It satisfies me that with every problem, Bioware has a solution to try and fix it.

Funny you mention skyrim. I had been saving tons of psn gift cards for their dlcs.  But since the ps3 dlc fiasco and the problems u mentioned I have since opted for using my monies for Omega dlc when it arrives.  And this is after I staunchly refused to buy leviathan (didn't interest me in the least).  Omega doesn't much either but bioware has really impressed me with their support for this game so they deserve my money.

F u dragonborn....

Freedom of speech and anonymity makes people think they can say whatever they like. Even if they disagree, people could atleast say so politely. I agree with OP.

That said, IMO the best way to combat rudeness is not through threads like this but by making appreciation thre3ads to tell Bioware we actually like them and they IMO do a good job

There has to be a counter balance to all the unwarranted praise they receive from the fanboys.

Besides, they're adults and they can handle criticism, constructive or not.

It's the same case with every game, every developer, and every community - the vocal majority are the ones who dislike things, not the ones that appreciate what is done.

You mean vocal minority.

The way I worded it was intended to mean: The vocal majority are the ones who rage, whereas the vocal minority are the players who like things as are.

I don't understand why people get upset when balance changes are delayed for a day. I just cannot give that many fracks in my life. I'd just explode.

Agreed OP but there really isn't much you can do about it. Anybody posts anything and it's gets, taken apart, misinterpreted, berated, made fun of, etc. Forums are places people can pretend to be something they aren't in real life without true consequences.

I am sure all the complaints & minor harsh comments to BW helped the game just as much as other complements & blind praises.

This game had no patch just for about half year.
Now the game is actually more than great and is excellent, but some people had good reason to write what they write.

Yeah, sometimes they get less respect than a parking ticketer. It speaks to their commitment to the game that they keep interacting on the forum.

Oh definitely take this as an appreciation topic too. I'm just calling out the people the personally attack the devs with stupid topics. I should have thrown more props to bioware in my original post

People are rude because the forums members and mods allow it. Stricter mods and bans would curtail a lot of the bad behavior in the forums.

This.  They bring us balance changes and new character kits every week but that's not good enough.

The anonymity of the internet also plays a role in people being more...ummm...blunt...than they probably would be when actually interacting with a person, face-to-face. As unfortunate as it is, and I have the utmost sympathy for you Bioware as I think you are doing a great job, I imagine it is an expected part of the job. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The problem with the internet is the lack of face-to-face interaction. When you are reading words on a screen it is easy to forget that there is a human being behind those words. Therefore, it is easy to reply in a way the is cruel or hurtful, a way you never would if you could see how your words effect the other person.

Self Entitlement, you can find it anywhere if the company/place offers something for free.

Exactly!! I got my copy for $25 right when it came out and the whole fiasco with the endings made the price drop. My copy has soo much value it gets me super stoked that free DLC keeps coming out and I got mine so cheap

I think a lot of it is this.  There are many who would not think to say things to your face that they put on a post.  But there are also those that just ****** and don't really care how they sound, they are going to be just as rude in person as they are on line (I hope this is a small percentage).

Plus what others said (like P51Mustang) about a sense of entitlement.

For those who are not trying to sound overly negative, if you treat your postings as well as things like email as an extension of what you would do face to face, it helps a lot.  Emails or blog posts can sound overly harsh, because you don't have the person's face, vocal inflection, etc., to gain cues from, as to intent.  Try to envision how a post will sound if saying it face to face, it helps.  I learned to do that with emails, so that folks getting them would not think I was crapping on them, when I was sincerely just trying to help.

Finally, to OP, there are a lot of threads thanking BioWare for all they do.  I think most of the folks on BSN really love the game, respect BioWare and manage to separate out those things BioWare can control as well as those they can't (like Origin, EA servers, etc.).  It's imperfect, but BSN has a lot of good folks who post here and I've learned a lot from them.  Plus those that have some wicked senses of humor, gotta love that.  Good group of folks overall.  Really.

Yep. The internet... turns people into pricks. When you seperate people from their humanity, they lose their social obligation to be decent to each other. Its like the military, they train you not to see the enemy as a human being, because it would lead to compassion, the hesitation, then getting yourself killed. People have annonimity here, and their targets are somehow distance from the people who make up that target. If we were all in a room tobether talking, we would all be much more decent to each other.
