While I like the XP boost to Gold/Platinum, I doubt that most people are playing Bronze/Silver just for the XP.

Quite frankly, I think the most widespread reason ought to be the many 200 wave objectives and people wanting to do them fast and not spend more time on it on harder difficulties due to each such challenge being quite long by itself.

Wave stuff is nice. And, I guess better shieldgate for players is nice.

Still really sad that it was vorcha this week and not drell. :'( :'(

No Weapon and Power stats change!!! A lot of things need more love, I see why Rokayt abandoned his accurate balancing ideas.

Still there: Shuriken, Disciple - did anyone hear 'bout that guns? =)))

Vorcha Hunter...

Why would i choose the Vorcha Hunter over a Batarian Sentinal?

Vorcha Hunter = 1313/438 max health and shield.
Batarian Sentinal = 1425/1425 max health and shield.

VH Submission net = 665 damage
BS Submission net = 1305 damage

VH has Health Regen through Bloodlust
BS has Damage Reduction through Blade Armor + inate stagger resistance


Not sure why Bioware would release such a similar character to one we already have (who happens to be a better tank too) when COD Black Ops II has just been released. Such a lackluster character is not gonna make people want come back all of a sudden.

If Bioware had released the Drell Infiltrator or Asari along with the Bloodpack Punisher SMG, the audience may have been swung in ME's favor. But as it is, balance changes were few, they were late, no new gun was transfered from SP and the new character was too similar to what we already have. I'm not quite sure what the strategy plan was there.

I'm pretty sure changes to shieldgate will be welcome though

I hope next time we get the assasin as it is the one that lacks a new character (Excluding the 4 that were released at start) Engineer,Adept,Soldier have all gotten both of their new characters and they were the other 3 classes that were there from the release of the DLC. After the Assasin though they should come normally.

LOL omg i just tried out the Vorcha Hunter. Spec'd him for full shields/health along with max regen evolution on Bloodlust. Faced off a Prime in Platinum. Got hit once by cannon to the chest which immediately took out my shields. I managed to dodge behind a wall then Prime's Turret hit me once and i went down.

Shieldgate recharge time decrease? More like Shieldgate abolishment! What a mess this week's balance changes have been....

Well, since there's no point in stickin around, i guess i'll see u guys friday for the event. Then soon as that's done, Tuesday (Wednesday really)

I'm glad the gates are getting attention. I think the main issue is the immunity period, so hopefully you guys can take a look at that next.

Eric, is there any chance of getting the shield/health gate invulnerability windows adjusted on Gold?

Presently it's possible to go from full health and shields to dead in just over 200ms, which with the average international ping means an off-host player can be dead before they even know about it - and that's before factoring in human reaction time. It would be nice to at least see oneself getting shot before falling over.

Two straight weeks without any real balance changes in the weekly balance changes. There are still lots of weapons and powers that need serious work, especially the freaking Disciple.
