 So I was playing some solo a short while ago. Completed my Falcon Use challenge around Wave 10. About twenty seconds from extraction....:

"You have lost your connection to the EA servers"



And back to the multiplayer menu I go with nothing to show for it. Needless to say, this is rage-feeding enough by itself. I checked my challenges page to see if the Falcon Use award stuck. What it showed was this.

As you can see, the accomplishment registers as having been completed once (I haven't done Assault Rifle Mastery before this), but the points total remains as it did before the match and my N7HQ reflects that it hasn't counted as one award towards Assault Rifle Mastery.

Have I glitched my award system? has anyone experienced similar before? Will reaching the required points total again help me progress? I thought I'd check before I made a move on it; better to ask around, right? Thanks

I do not think you get credit for challenges if you are disconnected from the game or ME3 server.

This is correct, for the most part. Oddly enough though, I sometimes got partial credit for my Asari Commando waves when it happened a couple of days ago.

Thanks. I'm hoping that if I just get the points again everything will normalise. But I don't want to get inadvertently stuck in a "bugged state" as happened to some people wherein it's impossible to advance challenges normally.

That is odd, but I wouldn't worry about it unless its still at 100% after you unlock the assault rifle mastery, you might need to use another assault rifle to max it out though.

I had a similar problem with my Assault Rifle Mastery, forget about falcon, complete other challenges until you get awarded the mastery then the problem disappears, that's what I did though.

Also, I did contact Jesse Reid, which was very helpful.

Same just happened again (on extraction again), Only this time it was geth proximity mine use for the Machine Mastery. Really hope that one works properly, otherwise it'll be 20 more full matches of grinding with another kit.

I got disconnected but got the award before. It seems that if the 25%/50%/75%/completed notification pops up, it gets saved into the n7 database. If it doesn't pop up, i lose the points

I think as long as you get the checkpoint marker it will save it. Not 100% sure. Sometimes it does save it, sometimes it doesn't. I get DC'd everyday so I can check further. I would have had my cover grabs maxed if it wasn't for the stupid DCs.
