Here's a simple fix:
Let "Sheploo" and... "Janeshep(?)" share the banner; have them either side by side or on each side of the banner.

BOOM. Now all you have to do is worry about people wanting their respective Shepard on the left or right.

This used to be true, since he was the only one they advertised. But with ME3, things have changed. More than half of the copies I see in rental stores and used game stores have the FemShep cover flipped outward instead, and shefinally hasan official "face" to be recognized. Plus some gaming news outlets like Kotaku tend to put FemShep up more often than BroShep.

I don't think it's unreasonable to request their other 'canon' Shepard to be represented. I don't care all that much, but it would still be a nice touch. (My main Shepard is, in fact, female.)

@: Admiral: Interesting so many of her professors would tell her to actively fail the test, and I do agree that's it''s ludicrous to suggest this trend is still so dominant. But then the author goes into a passion filled rant that completely misses the point and doesn't offer a real solution.
What, if you're told to lay low until you can change something you shouldn't do that? We should just drop out entirely and try it from the outside? Not exactly how social reform works my friend. Regardless of how bigoted their comments may have been you can't speak for their intentions at face value because of a Me vs Them attitude, you should take experienced advice when you hear it.

On that note, it'd be nice to have the banner. My first shep was Broshep but the shep I've played through the campaign with was Femshep. I tend to find myself playing female characters more and more often as well (Heck, I recently started tabletop RPGs and all but one of them there have been female). Am I just bored with playing male characters? Iunno, possible I suppose.

Ain't that the truth. It's the Lone Wolf that'll be my Moby Dick - specifically the Gold solos, the bronze I can do, Silver fairly sure i can do, but gold...*runs away and hides in the corner* 

And I agree that the banners in question should at the least have both FemShep and Sheploo on them, but choosing between the two would be best for each.

I want this too. The Mass Effect Banner looks like Shep is cross-eyed to me. It's ugly.

Nah, she just looks royally pissed off in that pic. What would have sold it for me is if she had a biotic aura (I think thats the term for it) comming off of her while she uses that omni-blade. That would be epic.

PS. FemShep is the only Shep for me.
