Um how is FemShep "uncannon"? She may not have been the poster child of ME1 but she was still a sex you could choose to be.

Going off of the logic that anything that isnt the poster child of a game is "uncannon", you end up destroying actual cannon characters.

I don't see the problem with having both. I mean, Bioware made an 'official' femShep, so why not use her? Also, why does this bother some guys so much? Can someone actually explain this to me without being a jerk about it? Is this a 'boys club' issue or something else entirely? I'm all for reasonable discussion.

Btw, not like I would ever get this banner. I'm just getting good enough to play gold PUGs. There's no way I have the time and energy to dedicate mastering gold solos now.

Why not do both? It's not like they can't.

I worked incredibly hard for that banner. I'd like to have a choice between Sheps.

Well, the second one is almost identical to the MaleShep "Best of the Best" banner. I don't see either as bad photoshop.

When it comes to manshep vs femshep it's an easy advantage to manshep, he is the marketed face of the Franchise used on the covers, posters, aired commercials etc. Most gamers outside the Mass Effect world can recognize manshep but many don't recognize femshep. By default his face will be the one used when it comes down to choosing between the two easily without question.

With that being said it's just a banner, anyone with basic photoshop knowledge is capable of making them with femshep. It's such a small task they might as well give the femshep fans what they want.

They probably didn't design the banner system to allow alternative ones. So replacing the existing with a version that depicts both might be the only option.
