I was once informed that a level 12 GI was too low for gold (always play gold after promotions, nobody has ever said boo about it before or since) despite using a Javalin X. The player in question had a pretty questionable loadout, put an X on me. The other two in the lobby knew how silly this was and tried to kick said smartmouth. Anyways they finally get over the high school drama and ready up. I proceed to score three times the second place player in a 30 minute game (long I know, had to carry a few waves), get accused by said player several times of hacking because "nothing can kill a brute in one shot" (pre armor value fix on them, it was possible to one shot) and have a great laugh along the way.

Only time I've ever seen an X next to my name in a lobby, gave me a pretty good chuckle. Well I was also kicked once after a game for "being too good and kill stealing"... ya I didn't really know what to say to that one.

People are just ignorant lol.  I normally don't trust pugs, but if someone's rocking a Javelin X and a GI, I'm gonna trust them.

When my friends play, I take my Talon wielding GI into Gold to level him up.  One time, they got impatient with me levelling and wanted to go to Platinum while I was level 16.  The match turned out really good.  25 minute run, i was first with around 110k-120k score.  So on Gold, I generally trust anyone with a GI and proper gun.  Just depends on their consumables really.

Anyways, I don't remember all that I've been kicked for.  I do remember the friends I just mentioned kicked me (kind of), so they could play with one of thier other friends.  They asked me to leave nicely though .  Other than that, I normally don't know.  The only real one I remember is shortly after the Earth DLC, I was playing a Shadow.  I had forgot I had an Arc Pistol on her.  I joined a Plat match and someone was like "Oh hell no, this ****** is using a pistol in Platinum."  Before I could change to my Piranha I was kicked.   Sad thing is, I'd completed more Platinums than him most likely.  Using the Shadow with just an Arc Pistol lol.  I wish there was a grace period for when people can kick you.  Then people could switch equips fast enough.

Using a Striker AR in silver on a Destroyer last night. I wasn't topping the damage charts but was a mob staggering machine. Oh well.

Sort of hedging on the point of the thread, but my husband created a silver lobby for us and two people came in. One of the guys voted to kick the other, and when we looked at the other guy, we couldn't see any reason to kick him. We ignored the kick request and waited for the timer to count down. But the kicking guy clicked his spacebar to stop the countdown trying to make a point that WE MUST KICK THE FOURTH GUY NOW, apparently.

My husband got ticked off at him and voted to kick the kicker. Finally he settled down and let the match begin. Silliness.

Why would I pee in the middle of a game?  Unless, there was like a bottle around or something...but, no.  I'm a girl, that wouldn't be possible.  Not that I'd consider it or anything...maybe.

It's true, though, no one should have to wait in a lobby for five minutes. Leave the lobby and find something again when you get back unless you're in a lobby with friends or some ****.

...also, I have to admit, I've run off to take a ****** mid-game before. I didn't get booted, because firing randomly into the air was surprisingly convincing.

Clever.  Bet they never even suspected.

Well, you can pee when ever you like, and how ever long you like, but it's not a good though to be in a lobby while doing that, unless you are friends and they take their break also.

I have never been kicked as far as I know, except when the host exits... and that happens way too often.

I have also kicked, and tried to kick people that are either too low level for silver, or way low in N7 AND Chalenge points for it.

Well, I wasn't aware I was still in the lobby.  I clicked exit lobby right before dashing off to the bathroom (Yes, I totally dashed).  Still, I don't think I was gone that long.  I've waited 5 minutes for people while they chose new characters, or equipment, and bought new packs.  Of course, I'm just considerate like that =)

Seriously, what is with all the low-level Silver hate?  I don't like leveling up in Bronze.  It takes too long.  If I didn't think I could hold my own, I wouldn't be there.

For the most part I haven't been kicked very often. Usually it is because the host wants a friend to join. Some people really hate hearing me talk through my Kinect mic (can't say I blame them, but other people are not concerned with it). The odd time I kick myself for playing badly.

When the Earth DLC was released, I got kicked for carrying two heavy weapons on a Destroyer. Guess someone really wanted me to have cooldowns for some reason...

I'm sorry, but this is one of the stupidest things I've read. He might have charged that dude so he would refill his barriers and not, you know, die. Heck I'll charge swarmers when I need to, to stay alive. Its not about respect, its about keeping oneself alive in the face of enemy fire.

If you play with me, 95% of the time you are playing on Bronze and you shouldn't have been in that situation to have to use BC like that... but there are "those games" where the CPU only targets you and ignores everyone else... Regardless, I STRONGLY doubt your scenario happened in my game and if it did then they deserve to drop because they were recklessly vanguarding across the map and if they did drop I'll be happy to kill all the people they couldn't and revive them. lol

I have been kicked for offering advice
not coming to the extraction point right away
and for low N7 (this is the most common and why I play silver when pugging, i will play other dificulties with friends)

oh and one time i got kicked because i let my 7 year old say hey to everyone i was playing with, they were like WTF this guy is 7 XXX

lol those things are sooooo bad, not saying this is you, but I hear Fido barking or baby crying alot with those, that or side conversations that just arent game related or just straight trash talking...

 I've been kicked plenty: 

- Bringing a L1 to silver/bronze
- Bringing a Female Quarian Infiltrator to fight Cerebus at Firebase Giant / Gold (guess they didnt realize I could sabotage Atlas & Turrets or didnt care)
- Poor performance / low scorer (happened when I first started Gold or fell asleep at FBWGG pre-patch)
- (Gold) loadout (bringing a Disciple X + Acolyte X on my Asari vanguard, Revanant X + Claymore X on destroyer)

- Post retailation I believe I was kicked for bringing a shotty infiltrator to Firebase Giant Gold runs.  Maybe I forgot to bring a sidearm pistol or they just wanted all snipers
- Kicked by randoms because they needed to make room for a buddy

Like playing Gold with a Level 1 Vorcha Sentinel armed only with a Raptor sniper rifle, and no equipment. Not sure why they let me play ... must not have been paying attention

Then what exactly do you do? Sit in a corner and do nothing? Use a character with a deployable that can kill people? I'm quite sure you show zero frustration in the same circumstance, right sir? I walk my talk. I doubt you walk yours.

Gives me an idea... I'll run around with a Kroguard, spam my BC and behave like the Vantards do and see how everyone likes it... I am quite sure everyone will be happy with it as well. They'll send me messages telling me how excellent of a teammate I am and how skilled I am at Multiplayer. They will be so grateful I assisted them with such backbreaking challenges like killing a geth trooper or husk with only a sliver of health left... Especially on Bronze... Where it's so difficult to kill enemies, ya know? You just never have enough missiles for a Bronze match, let alone a silver...........

Of course all that was sarcasm... Since expecting common courtesy in a multiplayer is "dumb", I figured i'd inform you it is indeed sarcasm, so you aren't confused.

That doesn't happen to me anymore, wanna know why?

Because instead of whining about a lack of enemies to kill, or complaining on the forum that my teammates are too good, I improved my own game.
