Now that I think about it for myself.
I really don't think any of the guns suck.
I find high dmg guns actually quite boring like the Piranha.
A good gun for me is something that's interesting to use.
But hey that's just me.
Edit: Also the Cerby adept and HA their Singularity more than makes up for their dmg.

Now, why is it? I mean yeah, his damage output isn't great, but the class by itself is by no means bad I think. Stimpacks let you fire much longer than the average class, and that results in a decent damage output in the end. I can probably think of a ****load of classes which are going to score less than he is.

and hey, i really like the human sentinels. I had my awaking to gold on those. 2nd strongest reasonably repeatable BE and kinda tanky. but yeah.

Kroldier (if that's not a term it is now) gets the extra power damage from Fortifcation and ability to detonate, but Brosoldier has Ballistic Blades which are really really good. The Batarian can run faster too so he probably has the edge for spawn nuking.

Untill I started working on maxing my manifest it was the best SMG I had and I even used it for soloing bronze and silver, it's so light you can carry it and a pistol and still have 200% recharge on your powers. It may not get used much after more weapons are unlocked and leveled up, but for me it was the best starting weapon.HolyAvenger wrote...

Sometimes people say the weapon is bad just because of its recoil: argus, incisor, and hornet.
They are actually good if you control the recoil.

Phoenix classes
Shadow

You could argue for a few more, but those are the classes which you could probably expect to do poorly, especially in lobbies with good players.
On that list I do agree. Anytime I take my Shadow or Human Sentinel for a spin I know I'm gonna score lower than usual.
I still love them, I don't have to score high to have fun. And a class doesn't have to be a high scorer to be good in my book.

Eh, all you show there is that you outscored someone (don't care if it's the "best player ever"). All that shows is that some things are better than others, which isn't news to anyone.
In my eyes something can be "worse" than something else, but still good.
But as you said earlier, your standards for what makes a weapon "good" are different than those of other people.

Even without stability mod it takes no effort to hit trash mobs at 50 meters or more.Mister_Faust wrote...
the hornet is very stable and hits well but I had the worst time doing the challenge for it. I was using the stability mod and pierce barrel.
As for damage, I used to use my slayer with hornet on platinum and it did very well.
I believe the hornet is a very good gun that does not need an infiltrator to do decent damage.
