I've noticed since the release of Retaliation, my Turian Soldier tends to stop firing every now and then as well as unable to use a power. The only way to overcome it is to perform a heavy melee move.

Was there a volus shield boosting? This has happened to me on a bunch of characters when there's a volus spamming SB.

Blame the Biotic and / or Tech Gods. They are the ones that cursed you.

I remember it happens when shield boosting while you half way reloading.

If that happens, use a heavy melee. That seems to fix it for me

I haven't seen any weapon jamming around Volus, but for some reason, my Hurricane decides to auto-reload when the clip is still 2/3 full. Kinda wastes my Marksman duration.

Heavy melee works unless you play as a Volus yourself, with another Volus spamming shieldboost. Had that happen to me an the only way I could find to fix it was to let my self get killed. Must have looked funny when I ran up to that Centurion and begged it to kill me ... he didn't need much convincing though ;-)
