After playing DA for a while, every now and then my screen will start to flutter uncontrolably. If I press the windows button on my keyboard, it jumps me back into my desktop screen where I then click on the DA:O taks bar and return to the game where the graphics are back to normal. I have other games that are as graphic intesive as Dragon Age where this does not seem to happen. I am wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.
Screen goes wackey...

What is the GPU temperature when that is happening?
( . . and what GPU are you using?)
An overheated video card throws what are called "artifacts" on the screen (look it up on Google or Yahoo), and there is no useful comparison from any one game to another when different game engines are involved, and DA: O uses its own independently developed graphics engine.

Yes, I have the same issue with an NVidia G 8600GTS. Researching the forums, it seems a lot of people are having similar issues. Also, game keeps crashing to the desktop and event viewer shows it to be caused by daorigins.exe. I turned all graphics optons to low, still doing the same thing. My video drive was a few months outdated, so updating that now and installing the NVidia system monitering tools as well, but I don't think this is video related.
