The lag monster head to head with origin.
That. EA is the worst faction to fight.
Technical issues aside, Geth are the most unfun because of Bombers, which are pathetically broken enemies, more overpowered than Dragoons, Scions AND Seeker swards combined; then Collectrs for the reasons listed. With Collectors it's mostly because of grenade spam and seeker swarms - the latter have too much health.

But seriously, the collectors. I do agree those balloon heads are good for headshots medal, but their movement pattern annoys me - especially if I have lag.

The Geth are my second worst to play against. The Geth Primes, the pyros, the Hunters and the missiles have killed me many times. And now there's the Bombers that are REALLY annoying.

Then again, any old run can go badly, so maybe I'm just picking on the Geth. I dunno.
EDIT: I do hate with a fiery passion the Possessed Scions with their unerring aim and incredible throwing arms. They can land those dang grenades on you from all the way across the map, and there ain't nothin' you can do about it, particularly if you're already in cover (because to go backwards is to run into most of them, and to go forwards is to become a soon-to-be-not-walking target, assuming you can go forward at all (think on Dagger when you're in the control room and they're anywhere else - they can pop those grenades in at you and you'd best move exceedingly quickly or you're toast on a stick)).

If I'm on certain classes and the enemy turns out to be Collectors. I will immediately leave. Can't say that about the other enemy groups.

BUT:
Sweet Jesus - Collector Solo!
I'm not a solo god, not by far! I suck with many classes on Silver, but I generally dominate the enemy on bronze and did all the stuff to collect the solo challenge.
But not Collectors.
I tried Shadow. Collectors: "Your butt is ours!"
I tried Kroguard. Collectors: "This hurts you!"
I tried the Justicar. Collectors: "We accept your submission!"
Every single character I bring, even my favourite ones that I can play Gold with solidly, they all get owned. Even the Fury, Justicar and Paladin.
Paladin! I extracted this guy on Platinum! Stomped in wave 1 on Bronze!
My infiltrators! In-Fil-Tra-Tors! They're laughed at by ugly bugs!
It's humiliating. I probably do it wrong, but they just seem impossible to me.
Someone living next to me? The moaning? That's when I get Collectors in my solo attempts. Don't you worry - it's over quickly.

I really like them all. It's good to have the Collectors, they bring a nice change of pace. Yea!

Nothing but melee killing Scions and Praetorians for me, Collectors are easy.
Just do not stand infront of a Scion and Praetorian, you are practically asking them to sync kill you.
It comes down to timing.

I don't mind the Geth, except for the bombers. Those things are so cheap and glitched, with powers not reliably hitting them. The prime combat drones are a bit ridiculous, but at least they are weak. I just think they are a good faction that forces you to be aware of your surroundings, but since the changes this has crossed the line to cheapdom!
Cerberus are challenging and interesting. A good variety of units but all are manageable with the right class/weapons/team. Now that dragoons are capped they feel more balanced.
Reapers are by far the easiest, but that is purely because they are the only faction not to see any changes. But a new addition just needs to add variety and fit a role that they don't have. Husks and grenades can flush you out of cover, as can a banshee. It'll be interesting to see what role the addition will fill, or will it just add cheapness!
I think BW need to be so careful. These changes are easily manageable for existing players, but new players must be finding it hard. You can't just keep moving forward and leave new players in the dust. I maybe shouldn't bring it up here, but Black Ops 2 has several options to help new players coming in to the game. I think ME3 MP could use a starter mode, maybe limit the amount of times it can be played to once per class. It doesn't need to be a tutorial as such, but it should be used to highlight the different enemy units and how they should be played against.
Anyway... Collectors and Geth need to be better balanced but for different reasons.
