Collectors are still pitched a level above what you're actually playing. We had four decent players yesterday and there were a couple of hanging in by the fingernail moments on bronze.

I'm not a solo god, not by far! I suck with many classes on Silver, but I generally dominate the enemy on bronze and did all the stuff to collect the solo challenge.

But not Collectors.

I tried Shadow. Collectors: "Your butt is ours!"
I tried Kroguard. Collectors: "This hurts you!"
I tried the Justicar. Collectors: "We accept your submission!"

Every single character I bring, even my favourite ones that I can play Gold with solidly, they all get owned. Even the Fury, Justicar and Paladin.
Paladin! I extracted this guy on Platinum! Stomped in wave 1 on Bronze!
My infiltrators! In-Fil-Tra-Tors! They're laughed at by ugly bugs!

It's humiliating. I probably do it wrong, but they just seem impossible to me.
Someone living next to me? The moaning? That's when I get Collectors in my solo attempts. Don't you worry - it's over quickly.

Nothing but melee killing Scions and Praetorians for me, Collectors are easy.

Just do not stand infront of a Scion and Praetorian, you are practically asking them to sync kill you.

It comes down to timing.

On ramps? How do you approach them from behind in a solo - So you do it with an infiltrator?

Same.  They are the ultimate "cheap" faction.  Especially for casters.

Hm, what's worse: an over-tuned faction that overly punishes power users and melee/vanguards and has too many bullet-sponging units that get 'enhanced' too often, or the classic stun-locking faction?

Tough call. I guess I'll still pick the Geth- at least w/ the Collectors you dun have so much fake difficulty flying around.

Geth by a very large margin. Collectors can sometimes be annoying, but geth are that always. They just feel cheap.

Geth because I make peace with them so I don't want to continue fighting them, also they seem the most boring of the factions because they don't have those instakills. On the other hand they have lots of firepower and when you get shot from multiple directions, YOU FEEL IT!

The Collectors are almost too fast to deal with. The other factions take cover the Collectors rush you without sense of self preservation much like the xenomorphs from Aliens.

 For me, it's the Reapers.  I always seem to get shafted with an insta-kill/perma-kill out of nowhere from a Banshee.  The reavers also don't help with their ceaseless missile attacks.

Cerberus' phantoms are also quite annoying for insta-kills but the rest of their platoon is pretty manageable as long as you don't let dragoons swarm you too much in the later waves.

The Collectors are hardest of all but for some reason I haven't gotten too annoyed by them.  I guess praetorians and scions don't seem as cheap as banshees since you can see them coming from a mile away.
