My character portrait and picture has not updated ... its just a blank screen...:)

Same here. on the 360, got errors 1002 and 1003. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: it was suggested in other topics that I delete my characters and they would somehow come back. do I do it manually? or do I just wait for it to come back?

Assuming character uploading is enabled the data is transmitted automatically. It is enabled by default. For missing files, deleting a character usually doesn't help.

I found that I had to reroll new characters to get some characters to upload to this site.  Sucks I know

so, I made a new character this morning for the mage achievement, and everything about it uploaded within a half hour. yet I still can't get the character protrait for my first character, nor does the picture show up on the site beside the equipment icons. I even leveled him up and changed the equipment and still nothing. the character uploading box is checked, and nothing is happening. what is going on?

Character profile pictures not updating is often caused by severe memory corruption on the client's computer, where it doesn't generate the pictures in a consistent way. Like any memory issues, it may work sometimes while failing others. The most sane approach would undoubtedly be to replace the current installed memory with new one.

I'm on a 360.
This is getting stupid. It uploads my different equipment, and it keeps uploading a full profile for a character I deleted from my 360 AND the site, but not a picture for my first character? What the hell?

The Xbox has trouble uploading data. It is possible there is no more to it than that.

well then why does it upload all this other data and not the rest? it seems odd that it would upload everything or nothing

That seems to be the characteristic of the bug.

same here I can only see one of my characters. The other ones wont show up.

Yes, thousands could have failing ram if they insist on buying el-cheepo brands. Change chips, problem solved.

I've tried manual save, change gear, level up, port forwarding, etc. I've done everything suggested, and I am getting frustrated that nothing works. This has been a problem since I started playing, and it appears I'm not alone. I assumed that the bug would have been fixed by now, considering so many people have had this problem, but appairently not. Every fix I have seen so far hasn't worked, so there is something very wrong here, and it's not just me.

I'm in the same boat.... everything updates normally, except for the profile pic. It even uploaded the background I chose for the profile, but not the image itself. I've tried all the supposed "fixes" and nothing works.

I am having the same problem... I have the picture for my first character, but none of my other two have uploaded pictures.

I am also having this problem. I have created many characters. Only two worked. One you see in my avatar. That was my first character. The second also worked, but I deleted that. All the rest have not worked, and I have tried many times now.



I am on the PS3 by the way.

I'm still trying to figure out how to update the character profile portraits to reflect the gear they've equipped. Seems like my characters are all shown wearing their default gear rather then what they have equipped.

I would love for my first character to be wearing his default armor. at least he would be there in that case. It's really annoying to not have the picture at all.
