Looks like the mage is missing a fanbase /sigh... XD Oh well I can still hope. Maybe the movie wasn't as popular with DA fan as I had thought.

It could be a good thing, just look at how much hate Cullen and his fanbase gets.

I love Cullen too and was hoping that Galyan could be the yen to his yag! Or maybe the the Robin to his Batman??? No? They would be so awesome and we could make t-shirts for Team Cullen or Team Galyan.... Maybe Cullen could glitter in the sunlight and Galyan gets a little furry? Manly chest hair? Don't tell Veric... He still thinks he has that market cornered.

The Dawn of the Seeker one is canon. It doesn't involve the PC or any of the PC's actions. I think the DA novels are also canon.

The comics are the only thing in canon limbo.

Well, Wynne and Shale being alive in Asunder isn't canon, last I heard.

I liked Galyan alot, mainly because he was so normal and had nothing wrong with him! And I love Pokemon, so I thought he was well drawn ;-)

I'd be down with him being in the game, maybe more as a cameo then a follower. As long as he has the same voice actor; I love J. Micheal Tatum voice acting. =D

Yes. I <3 Galyan. He was so adorable.

I would personally LOVE a romance with him. Though with Cassandra in your party (very likely) there may be a bit of tension/jealousy. Or maybe she won't really care? All she did was peck him on the cheek after all.

I would not mind seeing him again, though not as a companion. I liked the movie, but that was because I thought young Cassandra (the anime version, not the DA 2 version) was kind of hawt.

The film is set several years before Varric's interrogation and a lot can happen in that time. Maybe they did hook up, their relationship ran its course, and they now politely detest each other. You'd have some potentially entertaining friction while they attempted to learn to work together as friends. Maybe Galyan moved on after Cassandra declined his advances and she now regrets her choice and wants him back. If she's willing to compete with the PC for his attention, it could make for a lovely romance conflict. I mean, unless the PC is a total jerk, you know the protagonist is going to win that one. Maybe it was just a harmless romance subplot to add interest to the film and nobody was really serious about it. If they were both companions and LIs, every option adds something to the romance, so it's all win, from a writing perspective.

In view of the end of dragon age dawn of the seeker, Cassandra and Gaylan certainly will not be companions in Dragon Age 3. And even if they were in love with Cassandra Gaylan is therefore unfortunately impossible to romanticize ... to my great regret ...

The Orlaisian aposte Merideth has you chase around Kirkwall. I thought he was funny, but I don't want very many companions with Orlaisian accents.

If they can find people like Cassandra's VO I won't really mind, though all the other Orlasian accents in DA2 annoyed me.

A bit off topic but Cassandra's accent is Nevarran, not Orlasian right? It's a small difference but it's kind of like saying that someone who has a British accent and someone with an Irish accent are the same. Forgetting for a second that just between Liverpool and Manchester there is different accents, kind of like different accents between Texas and New York.

On topic, I'm not against seeing him again, I liked him in the film.
