Seems a bit of a random thing to add when are there are several other improvements these forums need (multi-quote functionality for a start), but it doesn't do any harm I guess.

It won't let me add my BSN aacount. I keep getting:

× Error: There was a problem obtaining your account information. Please try again.

:-(

I've gotta ask you Chris, why the DA3 forums?

Honestly?

Ok, so recently Ray & Greg retired. We knew this would cause some people to think that BioWare was going to collapse, die, end whatever you want to call it. Initially we were not planning on discussing DA3 until next year, but to combat the rumors that we'd die off without Ray & Greg, we announced officially that DA3 was in the works (along with a new Mass Effect title and a new IP in development).

Since we announced it, we figured some fans would want to discuss it, so we opened a DA3 forum. We could have just let people talk in DA2 forums, but it is a different game, so we opened this to let you talk about DA3.

Simple really.

Bioware is essentially dead. The company was bought ought by EA and the two co-founders have retired. Most likely, this.. EA Bioware was not part of the dream the founders envisioned for the company. Funny, I never did hear a 21 gun salute.

That was some really good honesty for once in a while and I think we could do with more of that around here,.   As long as you explain why you make the decisions you do, very few people here will rage/complain.

It's as social as you want it to be. One could sign up with as little as a Bsn account, no facebook, twitter, ect required.

So yeah, I'm only a green belt 60% towards a blue belt, but that's without my PC versions of my bioware games. Gish, add those in and I would be way up in ranks. LOL! I certainly hope it's not going to be like Uncharted (on PS3) where I have to replay it to get the trophy's because that would suck. LOL!

Any information about the BSN connection with GamrRank? Is there some type of timeline for if/when the connection will show our bsn tracked game use?

Am I being penalized for buying physical copies for PC and digital copies from amazon and origin for PC? LOL! J/K but seriously where's my bsn trophy love?!

I'm 90% of the way towards becoming a Brown Belt. Just need more people to respect my last few achievement grabs in Mass Effect 3. Also, its my birthday today so RAWR.

Oi, something I noticed- Click on a player's Activity bar to see everything they've done individually as you might miss being able to respect certain things that way. I just noticed some of my recent achievements haven't been respected likely because they didn't show up by themselves.

About to hardcore respect whatever I can on people's pages.

Um...how do I have two followers already when I haven't sent invites out yet?

Who in here is Emzey and naughty999? Since they followed me, I'm following them now. Anyone else want an invite?

You don't have to invite (friend) a person to follow them. :)

What, that they gather statistical usage data regarding their website ( IE: Achievement progress, comments, ect.) and share them with third party sites? Who cares?

...for even more security of my mental state, a new BSN feature to amplify the power of trolling us back and forth the internet.
I know that the community will grow and flourish... but so does cancer.

Thanks.
I needed that.

Useless option is useless. It will only fuel immaturity over who's got the most 'respect' and a rainbow-coloured belt, judging from the behaviour some social attention-wh*ring drones in this topic are already nicely showing.

Hi Everyone

Soon you will start to see some people here on the BioWare Social Network with new GamrRank information displayed on their profiles. GamrRank is a website that works to promote the games that you play and what you post about them on your social media accounts. Once you hook up your account, your activity in-game and on social channels, you get a ranking and a feed that you can compare to your friends. You build your “Rank” in their system by what you play and what you say. Services like Xbox Live, Steam, The PlayStation Network, Facebook, Twitter, the BioWare Social Network and others will all help create your GamrRank.

Currently their website is in beta testing, but they are looking for interested people to help them test their system. If you’re the type of person who likes to play video games and then tell others your thoughts about them, maybe you should check out GamrRank.

So, instead of trying to protect people's privacy, BioWare has decided to sell their player's information to third parties?

I hope there is a 'opt-out' option.

Why would I want to buy anything from this company? If they are not able to protect my personal information, why would I want to buy anything from BioWare?

I am not a member of those sites for a reason.

All this wreaks of spying on your consumers.

DRM is not enough?

Is BioWare becoming the ultimate big brother franchise?

First, you want to control what I do with your software (after I buy it), and now you want to peak into my closet?

Where does this end? How far is BioWare going to take this? Does BioWare even believe people should have a right to personal freedom and privacy?
